- This two way fully shielded stereo pair of speakers includes 1 active and 1 passive speaker. A 40W Class D amplifier is housed in the active speaker. The incorporated universal power supply means that the speaker can be used anywhere in the world without need for a change in voltage selection. The On/Off switch is located on the rear panel of the active speaker and a blue LED lights above the volume knob when the system is on.
- The knob on the left hand front is a three position input selector for iPod, USB (for PC playback) or 3.5mm jack plug input. The iPod dock is concealed on the top of the active speaker. It accepts iPod and iPhone and those devices will charge whilst in the dock when the system is on. All cables are supplied - these include 3.5mm and USB together with speaker cable to link the active and passive speaker.
- ktiMateTM Micro speakers are available in a choice of gloss finishes - red, white or black. The Micro was introduced in late 2011 and within a matter of weeks it had received an award for the 2012 Desktop Audio Product of the Year in Australia from Australia's leading audio magazine - Sound & Image.

- This was followed by a Group Test in the same magazine where our AktiMateTM Micro was the outright winner beating some serious opposition. The speaker then went on to win the Desktop Product of the Year in What Hi Fi. Some slight changes have been made since the first introduction, all being cosmetic. Noticeably a metal grille has been added to cover the woofer and a new metal badge has replaced the plastic bubble style of earlier times.
