My "go to" Between Meals Hunger Killer.
These are tasty, but not so tasty that you want to gorge on them like a bag of Snickers.I find most protein bars/meal replacement bars fall on the two ends of the spectrum:DELICIOUS -- these are the bars that taste great. Too great. They are loaded with sweeteners usually. I gobble them up happily, get a quick energy boost followed just as quickly by an energy drop and I'm still hungry with hours of work left.HEALTHGUSTY -- these are Healthy and Disgusting. I choke them down because the labels says they are good. They do eventually fight back the hunger for a long period, but I don't enjoy eating them. These Chocolate Peanut Butter Atkins Bars are right in the perfect middle for me. I'm happy to eat one, but they aren't so tasty that I gobble it down all at once. I take a bite, and usually a second, but then am fine to set it down for awhile before another bite. By the time I take the last bite, I don't want anymore and my hunger is taking a nap.If you are in a cold office or outside in cool weather, keep the bar in your pocket for a bit first. The taste dramatically changes with the temperature for some reason. I find them best in the "warm room" 70-80 degree range and not enjoyable in the 50 degree area.

Please stop comparing Atkins to Keto. These are delicious low sugar meal bars!
ATKINS IS NOT KETO! BEWARE OF CERTAIN BAD REVIEWS FROM THOSE COMPLAINING THAT THESE ARE NOT FOR THE KETO DIET! I eat an extremely low sugar diet and try to avoid white refined sugar in foods at all costs. I am not diabetic but suffer from insulin resistance due to polycystic ovarian syndrome. I eat Atkins products because they are low in refined sugar. These products use a sugar substitute but I've been sugar free for so long, and consume these products in such small increments that they don't upset my digestive system overwhelmingly. I always read reviews before purchasing products online and I must say that I am surprised and annoyed with all of the negative feedback from those complaining that these are not for those on keto.Although I do not follow a low carb lifestyle, I am well aware that the Atkins diet is not the Keto diet. While both diets are built on the principles of eating minimal carbs, both diets differ greatly. Atkins packaging has "keto friendly" on it but that doesn't mean that they are keto products. Please do research on the differences before complaining these products kicked you out of ketosis. With all that being said, these meal bars are absolutely delicious and I love the protein that the peanut butter gives you. If you follow a low sugar lifestyle and may possibly eat a low carb diet ( not keto) then I'd give these a try just to see how you'll feel about them. They keep me full and helps me to control my weight and sugar intake! I usually do not care for long reviews like this but I just had to provide my opinion on these bars.

Great when you're rushed
I try not to eat these. I'm diabetic, and these are a bit of a cheat, but when there's no time for a meal these are great. They curb my appetite, are low enough in carbs to be ok with my glucose levels, and are tasty. Everything about them works for me except I try to eat naturally when possible. I keep one in my meds bag for emergencies, and it's good to know whatever happens I have a meal on hand that won't spike my levels.

Great for Maintaining Blood Sugar (and losing weight)
I'm diabetic, so I've been trying to stay low carb to keep my blood sugar under control. I've done low carb in the past with the focus being losing weight, but that never worked for me. As soon as I would lose some weight, someone would compliment me and then I would feel justified in breaking my diet and start gaining weight back. This time around, I've hardly weighed at all and just focused on my blood sugar, so I was kind of surprised when I went to the doctor last week and found I had lost 40 lbs in the past 10 weeks. These bars aren't the most wonderful meal, but they taste good and are incredibly convenient when I don't have the time to fix a proper meal. They've gotten me through some hectic times with trying to get my four sons where they're supposed to be on time. So, I don't rank these 5 stars for weight loss or taste, but I do give them 5 stars for being a convenience and healthy option for my diabetes. I don't care if I lose weight and look better (though that's not a bad thing), but I do want to live longer and be there for my sons, and these bars help me achieve that goal.

Good meal bars that really work for Atkins/keto diets
As "meal bars" go, these are pretty good. Reading the ingredients, I don't see too much to worry about. I'm sure the taste would be better if they added some flour, honey, and/or sugar, but, of course, that would defeat the purpose of having a 250 cal. meal substitute with just 3g of net carbs.Besides the good-but-not-great taste, and the affordable-but-not-cheap price, the only other drawback of these is that they are particularly dense. While that makes them filling, it's important to keep fibrous foods in your diet like low-carb greens and maybe add some coffee, chicory, or erythritol to keep things moving along regularly (losing a pound a week is great, losing four pounds on one terrible day each month... while mathematically equivalent, is experientially much less great).I honestly can't see buying these regularly unless you're on an Atkins (or similar ketogenic) diet. However, I have been on such a diet for three months now, and I actually have been averaging a pound of weight-loss per week, so, for now at least, I heartily recommend these.
