RCI 8020S Poly Baja Lwbck Seat Blk

Exceeded my expectations - especially as it was clear that it does come with mounting rails attached. I did need to clean up a few sharp casting edges but most of them were already smoothed. My use is for a sim-rig I put together for GT7. I added a thin gel-foam cusion but otherwise its been great. Fits me easily at 6ft/180lbs.

I bought this in an attempt to replace a riding mower seat that was becoming less and less safe as mods to my kart made it go faster and faster. This seat fits perfect and holds the rider in snug. As most reviewers pointed out the mold is rough but that could be addressed with a file and some sandpaper. Or with a seat cover.

Update! They never replied to my messages and I am stuck with this trash! They stole my money and left me with this useless cheap plastic! Save your money. Your better off sitting on a plastic milk crate. It would absolutely be more sturdy and safer. It's a blow molded seat with zero infill to give it support. It bends when you lean back.Did I mention zero customer service? Still waiting for a reply!Poor quality. I think they need to replace the mold...Mine arrived with the chopped up top, looks terrible and is much weaker in this area. It will wear out fast. The mounting brackets are really weak. The brackets are all bent up right out of the box. They are very thin steel. They aren't sturdy at all. This is a thin plastic blow molded seat. The bolts that attach the bracket are just through the plastic, no reinforcement or sleeves, just metal through hollow plastic. You have to remove the brackets to install the seat, 2 nuts were cross threaded and almost impossible to get off.The problems just keep going. Like, where is the cover they show in the listing photo? I mean that would have fixed the top that looks like someone trimmed it with a dull hatchet.I read the the description several times and still don't see where it says cover shown not included.Only found this out when reading all the bad comments. The good comments all seem to be aimed at go Karts.Don't put this in an actual car. This is a poor quality toy.

Seems pretty tough on inspection. I bought this for a jump seat to mount in the back of my truck. I need it to be weather proof. The mounts are minimal but I can live with them given the limited use this will likely see. Good enough for me or use on a custom go-kart or something, but if I had a serious full size race vehicle I might want something heavier duty, but then the cost goes up pretty fast so consider your application.

Looks like it would be a good seat if their employees cared to do their job appropriately. There is a whole in the top that will allow water to collect in the seat if left uncovered. Injection wasn't filled properly leaving oblong holes.

This seat is more than I expected. It came with mounting plates attached. Easy install. Exactly what I wanted.

I liked that it fit the trike low rider 3 wheeler we have and its somewhat comfortable. The top of the mold looks like someone took a file to it and just destroyed it. All i can say is that if you want it to look nice plan on buying a cover for it too. I think the price shpuld be more like 50 not 100
