Excellent Product. Came in as planned and on time

We cook two big meals for the week, for five people. This can easily accommodate one at a time. Easily the best peice of cookware in the house. My only concern is that we are going to scratch the enamel. I put rubber shelf liner between the lid and pot when stowed, and more on top of the lid to help prevent scratching from my other pans. I would buy this again if I didn't already have one.

As a proud owner of the standard size dutch oven and the brazier, I have become spoiled with the value of Le Creuset products. As a bachelor with very little free time, when I cook or can, I like to go large. Why ? Because I can prepare a lot of food at one time for those times when I want to eat wholesome, premium quality food but just don’t have the time to shop or prepare myself a meal. Meet the Boss. I was able to cook and can 10 quarts of organic potatoes at once. A turkey ? Two roaster chickens at once ? No problem for The Boss. I am currently making 2-3 gallons of beef stock at once. Heavy ? Not as much as expected. Pricey ? Yup. Worth every dollar and more ? HELL YES.

I didn’t realize just how large and heavy (read: feels like 30 lbs 🤣). Cooks so well and cleans pretty easy.

Love this very versatile oval dutch. If your looking to make large batches of whatever for family gatherings or friends coming over for game day this pot can handle it. Roast some chickens or small to medium turkey no worries with this guy. Gallons of chilli, gallons of stew, enough soup for christmas eve dinner for the entire extended family. One note, this pot is heavy just by it's self, even more so full of hot delicious food, so be careful lifting this sucker.
