Nice little grill for in and out doors
First, this company has outstanding customer service. Put this together on a Saturday after receiving it, and the spot welded copper tang popped off the heating element. Luckily the company had sent a email when this was delivered. I used the link in the email to report the problem and they replied the next day, on a Sunday. After some back and forth to get more details about the problem, I was told they would just send a replacement grill, yes a whole new grill. Tuesday (two days later) it arrived at my front door. Needless to say, that made me extremely happy. I used the heating element out of the new arrival, and worked as expected. Finally got around to grilling with it, and it works pretty good in doors, with some issues. I included two sets of photos, four total. They show the grilling and one shows what is left over for clean up. That first grill (first couple photos), I covered the plate that supports the heating elements with foil, as seen in pictures in other reviews here. It worked fine catching the dripping juices until it started a little fire. No biggie, easy to put out. Just not good for an indoor grill, smoke alarms and all. Meat came out fine tho. Clean up involved scrubbing the actual grill, removing the heating element to access the foil, tossing the dirty foil, and wiping the inside of the grill. Second time (second set of photos) I didnโt bother to install that support plate and just covered the bowl in foil. Heating element was fine just sticking out without that support plate. That worked a lot better, as the extra distance away from the heating element avoided any fire starting. Clean up involved scrubbing the grill, removing the heating element, tossing the foil, and wiping up any leaks. Hardest part is scrubbing that grill clean, but thatโs typical of any grill. Foiling just the bowl worked best for me, no fires, easier clean up. Of note, my lid sticks every time it heats up. I had to use two hands to separate/open it. Not a major inconvenience, just make sure you have two free hands the first time, not as sticking after first opening. Overall, if youโre looking for a indoor grill I would recommend you consider this one. Also, if your copper tab pops off, if you canโt spot weld it back on, drill a hole and screw/bolt it on. Of note, I bought this during one of them flash sales, but noticed it was cheaper, just slightly, a week or so later using the coupon. Either way, itโs a great buy.

Works great
This is a great electric grill. It is simple to assemble (~20 min) and it works very well. The first time I grilled it gave off a bit of a paint smell, as described in the manual, but that was the only time. I have grilled about 15 times so far and I had no issues. The grill gets very hot, and it cooks thick pieces of meat nicely. It doesn't get terribly messy, but I recommend placing some aluminum foil at the bottom to catch the grease etc. so it's easier to clean. I highly recommend it.

Fire hazard
This is definitely not a good barbecue grill. The burner is to close to the grill itself and not only did it burn the food, but it caught on fire. It caught on fire and the fire did not want to go out even after being pulled out of the electrical socket. It also did not have no way to drain the oils and fatty stuff from the food which left it on the grill itself that's why I caught fire. I would not advise anybody to buy this the waste of money.

perfect easy-to-assemble grill
This electric grill is perfect for 2-4 people, not for grilling for a large crowd. It is very easy to assemble and all the nuts and bolts are already assembled, so no searching for the correct wing bolts, washers, etc. It can be used indoors (great in the winter), and outdoors. Wish it had a metal stand, but I can figure that out. I agree that a Kona grill mat is useful and keeps the grill cleaner eliminating clean up of the grill itself. We invite 2-4 people to our patio, cook kebobs, and guests get their food at a social distance one pod at a time. This keeps us happy with grilling. No worries about propane exploding, messy charcoal clean up. Nothing beats a charcoal weber steak, but this is a great alternative for everything else--veggies, fish, scallops, burgers. Would recommend it!

Really nice, but..,,
This is a great little bbq but it has a few significant flaws. First, there is no indicator light on the unit to let you know the power is on. Second, there is no temperature gauge. And most significantly there is no grease trap/tray and no way to clean the bottom of the bbq without disassembly of the burner and tray. Accumulation of grease and debris in the bottom of the bbq could be a fire hazard. I just wonโt bbq anything greasy and will use it only for heating.

Best small grill for apartment patio
Great grill for apartment living. Gets hot fast. There is no drip tray, used aluminum foil for easier cleanup. Had couple grease flare ups but they died out as soon as I closed the cover. Burnt fats underneath heating element give food almost charcoal-cooked flavor! Best deal I've found online. 7 MONTH UPDATE: GRILL IS STILL UP AND RUNNING. NOT THE CLEANEST SET UP BUT WORKS GREAT. LEGS BROKE VERY EASILY AT THE FIRST TUMBLE. NO PROBLEM, SNAPPED THEM OFF AND USE WITHOUT LEGS ON A TV TRAY TABLE. FOUND A 5 ELL GEILL THERMOMETER AND INSTALLED DRILLING HOLE ON LID. WISH HEATING ELEMENT GOT HOT ENOUGH TO WEAR FOOD, BUT FOR THE PRICE, IT WORKS PERFECTLY.

Stupid to clean, smokey as hell
No drip tray, you literally have to unscrew screw after each use to clean the belly that filled with dripping juices from whatever you grilled. It is not smokeless, in fact just the opposite, it's extra smokey. If you use in your house open every window and turn on fans, my smoke alarms still went off. This damn thing is a smoke factory. I probably have stage 4 lung cancer after using it once.

I have gone thru 2 of these. Neither one lasted a year. The elements burn out and the replacemnets cost near as much as a whole new unit.. Generic elements do not fit. Too bad as otherwise they look and work well.
