Excellent to give my scenery that little more authenticity authenticity.

These are really good little kits. I bought 2 and both have gone together really well. I have not normally built card or paper wrapped kits (as this is) before as I do not like the 'shimmer' to the surface. However a little spray with a matt varnish cures this. The kits are easy to assemble BUT (there is always a but) BOY do they SMELL! Yes you read that correctly. As these are laser cut/burnt the compressed cardboard/wood really gives off a strong burnt odour and it is really noticeable when building the kits. Obviously this should wear off with time but be aware of it, especially if building kits on the living room table. (we have all done it) One tip I would give is to paint the roof tiles before fitting them or use thinned paints as thick paints will cover the tile joints and spoil the tile effect. Apart from the odour I really like these kits and will be building more. (possibly outside in the summer!)

This is my take on the model. ( you can construct this as a "pristine" barn if you wish).Dead easy to assemble and a choice of finishes available. I added the cow for scale purposes which is spot on. A few dabs of acrylic paint adds to the final look which I've done here. The greenery (not included) adds to the realism of a barn somewhere in the country side left alone and dropping to bits! Great product.

this item was for my grandsons model railway it hasnt been made yet but looks really nice and the instructions seem very clear packed very nicely and arrived on time will buy from this company again
