GE LED Book Light Pink Color

My wife and I love these! I'll be curious to see how long they actually last but I have gotten through most of the Harry Potter series and a couple of other books. So far I have had no issues with the light and have found it to be slightly dim on larger paged books, but for the most part it's perfect and does what it was intended to do. The clip that attaches to the pages could stand a little improvement but it's easy enough to find a way to make it work.

This light had good reviews so I got two, one for a gift. It is hard and unbalanced, to clip on your book cover, to begin with. It's supposed to light up when you simply open it. Well..... It opens! But the light does not come on all the time. And? You have to practically " move" it around from paragraph to the next, manually. I just wanted to Clip, Click and Go! I have now ordered another type, having wasted my money here. It was inexpensive, now I know why): . I don't know How in the hell it got all these good reviews, because in MY opinion? It's a shell game. And I, picked the wrong shell!

I was looking for a light for my basic kindle (no backlighting). I tried several others but didn't like the way they fit on or they wouldn't light up the whole screen. This one does the job well! I can even use it with my leather kindle cover on. The light is bright enough to light up the whole screen well but not so bright that it disturbs my sleeping husband. Being LED the batteries last quite a long time compared to other book lights. The design of the light is even great for setting up on my nightstand to have a light for knitting or other similar type things during the night when insomnia strikes. It's also lightweight enough that it can be used on paperbacks or magazines. I'm very pleased with this light!

Not a fan, it clips on awkwardly and is incredibly bright, too bright to use to read in bed with. I've had other book lights that worked much better. On a positive note, it's led so it uses hardly any power and makes a good flashlight.

Works alright but have to reposition it when reading a hard cover book as it will not cover both pages at the same time sufficiently.

I've bought this product before and loved it. It broke so I bought it again. Lasted me quite a few years without ever having to change the batteries. It takes 2aaa batteries. Very sturdy and is very bright. I gave this only 4 stars because this one does not come with batteries.

I was looking for a very simple book light for my daughter who likes to read books - especially while travelling long distances.. This one fits the requirement perfectly.. Its light, easy to pin to the book pages, bright enough for her to read in the night. The light folds perfectly into a packet that its easy to carry wherever you want to.. Considering free shipping and the price offered, I would say its absolute value for money.. Now my daughter wants to go for more 'long drives' in the night :)

This light is a great value. All of my kids own one for reading in the car at night (and to sneak reading time in their bedrooms after the lights are out for the night!). They also use it to review homework on the morning bus ride in the winter months when it's still dark at their pick-up time. This light is bright and functional, but not offensive to other people sharing the same space.
