Unfortunately, I hurt my back on a somewhat regular basis due to stress. I gained 20 lbs in the last 2 years, so the one I had didn't fit me any more, and I had to get a bigger size. You know what - TOTALLY worth the price. This gives you a LOT of support without being a total pain to wear, just when you need it.There's no way you can wear this and look fashionable or good, so if that's what you're looking for, go to the next product. If you're looking for a back brace because you did "something" to your back (you know what I'm talking about), you want this sucker. I am so so so glad I bought one! I wore it for a week. I literally couldn't do my life without it that week.

I have been having some extreme lower back pain and need some relief so I can function. I bought this to replace a very old brace I had been trying to use (over 30 yrs old). This purchase was way overdue! I hadn't realized how stretched out and useless the old one was. Hint: Elastic doesn't last forever. Don't keep a brace that long.The ComfyMed brace was oh so comfortable right out of the package. I bought the large (my size was within the listed range) and it fits great. Wore it for several hours around the house and it is wonderful. Now I have to take it off to wash it, as is recommended. I don't want to take it off.This is a great brace at an affordable price. I may buy an extra one. It came with clear instructions; turns out I had been wearing my old one a bit wrong.

I've been pretty happy with this back brace. I don't have severe back pain, just daily and persistent. I bought this before moving, since I was worried about throwing my back out with heavy lifting. I don't wear it for long periods of time, but I will sometimes wear it even when I don't have pain, since it helps my posture. I like the way it fastens with 4 straps, which makes it easy to adjust the fit as desired. That makes it easier to get comfortable too. I was worried it would be too hot, but so far it has not bothered me. I'm a dress size 14 and was unsure about what size to order. I eventually went with the LARGE since other reviewers have stated that it is very adjustable, and I agree - there is plenty of room for me to (hopefully) get smaller. It's a little bit scratchy against bare skin, but nothing you can't get used to. I've worn it under clothes and over, and it can create some unsightly bulges or bumps (since I'm not skinny) - I would definitely not wear it with tight-fitting clothes. It leaves little red marks on my skin after I take it off, but they are minor and to be expected. I sort of wish it were a little wider in the front so it flattened more of my chubby belly, but I know it's a back brace, not a girdle! :) Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would make it again. This is my first time buying a brace of any kind and I would recommend ComfyMed to others.

I really like this for my treadmill workout. It did help. It is large enough to go around my waist with clothing on (in the gym) and still be comfortable and provide some decent support.I was going to purchase one for my a friend as a gift but I will not now that I know that it can't be returned. I find that odd so I won't be buying another. Amazon needs to make this clear in the description (non returnable). Lucky for me the one I purchased for myself is fine.

This is one of the best back braces I have purchased in quite a while. My lower back hurts so bad some days that I can only stand for 10 - 15 minutes at a time....even less if on concrete floors.This back brace is easy to put on and adjust. Might sound silly, but I also like the decoration on it so I can remember which way it goes on....Real simple, just loosen the two adjustable wraps (velcro), then put the belt/brace around your waist/lower back and secure it (velcro again). This brace also fits me and I am overweight.Then using the two adjustable wraps, pull them to where they are comfortable and secure them with the velcro. I still have pain a lot but not nearly as bad as before using this brace.The mesh helps with sweating although I still sweat, just not as much as with other braces.It can be worn under your clothes (just make sure you get the velcro on the inner belt straight so it doesn't scratch your skin) or on top of your clothes. This is terrible for lower back pain. First of all after measuring in stomach I am a large on the lower end. Size large is way too big for me. The inner band witch gives you back support is way too long so you get no support from it. The outer bands don't support your back just squeeze you stomach. The support is only in the middle of your back, not your lower back. Tried to return it after two weeks and Amazon says IT IS NOT RETURNABLE. With no reason why.

I have a slipped disc in my lower lumbar area. If I do any type of work that involves bending or twisting etc.., I would always have to stop and recover, or pay the price for not stopping. I started wearing the ComfyMed brace when I knew I was going to do any light work. It works well and helps my back pain a lot. I have a 47" reach around by back at the belly button. I wear a size 42" pants. I have no problem putting this on and it fitting. The only problem is, my fault, I have a bigger belly so the belt pushes down in the front and can be uncomfortable in a sitting position. I still like it a lot. The back side, support, doesn't slide up or down at all. Nice and cool with the mesh back also.
