Bought this for my wife and she loves it! It has a great amount of detail and the elevator is a great touch.

I loved building this! Took me about 5 days. There are such cool features! When you push the light brick included in the set, you can see a ghost skeleton through the painting! There is a manually openable gate that uses mechanics to crank it open. The elevator feels so smooth! I am just amazed at all the mechanics involved in this set. There are many cool items inside the haunted house, like a skeleton hung by its ankles with real chain shackles and a skull inside of a neon green translucent dome. The manual explains the backstory of every knick knack in a story telling way, which is great fun. One thing I kind of got tired of was making the wall sections with windows on the tower, they were all the same thing over and over. I don't remember how many times I had to repeat those sections, maybe 10 or more times? Who knows. When you make the chain for the elevator, just know they give you an extra link, so if you leave that one out it'll work great. That'll save you the counting of a hundred links or whatnot. I read someone's review on here that said the shipping label was slapped on the box itself. They don't do that any more, luckily. Mine came in a bigger, plain box, so the shipping was great. I would definitely recommend this set. It is worth every penny. It's not just a display piece like the Disneyland Castle one, this one is actually fun to play with afterward with all of its little features, and especially the elevator. I bet it's even more wonderful with lights and a motor!

Another amazing feat of LEGO engineering and design! Very impressive build. The animated ares of interest are super fun and the the tower ‘elevator’ is simply amazing. Highly recommend this kit! (Note: I’m a 63 year old kid who never tires of the LEGO ingenuity. Please keep the kits coming, LEGO!)

Eerie Fun Like most lego products, the Haunted House did not disappoint. If assembler follows manual it offers enough challenge for interest and yet the process of assembly goes smoothly and motivation remains high. Pricing remains in line with other lego kits that are comparable in number of pieces and size. The moveable elements (elevator etc) are impressive and fun. Great product .

I hope all the kids in the world would get one of these sets if they love legos! it is just one of the best lego sets anybody could ever have - - its wonderful - - I love it - you will, too! I'm even learning new words - like obelisk - - I'm almost half way done and the elevator is going to ROCK! the door opens with this really cool gear and the chandelier is completely connected to it - - - - there are a whoppin 18 bags in the set! Time to get back to building! I am 8 years old - 9 in April - - I'm striving to be a lego master!

Fun to build as a family. I love the way lego puts all the sections in individual bags. The directions are easy to follow. You can also download the manual on lego builder and work simultaneously with others. Once completed it was smaller then I thought it was going to be. I didn't expect it to be huge since they are legos but the size of the box makes you think it will be larger. This build took us (2 adults and one 6 yr) about a week to build and that was doing 1 to 2 bags a night. The way lego designs the builds is to keep them together. With that this will be difficult to store. It would be nice if lego would give a suggestion on what type of case to put this in. Over all fun, easy, and worth it.

The most detailed Haunted House created by Lego yet, also is considered a "powered model" as it has electric parts that come with it. This is a great decorative piece for Halloween, build by yourself or with a loved one, or to collect as its sure to be a valuable Lego Collector piece in the series. I would easily buy this again, and grab it soon before it retires!

I enjoyed putting this challenging but fun set together. I had to buy the motor set separately, however it didn't detract from my fun. It is a great gift idea. I had extra parts that I added to my collection of parts.

I was building the Lego but when I finished with the steps the elevator did not work

So exited to build it 😁😁😁!!! Dont understand why the numbers on the bags arnt all the same and some are double, some arent. Idk why because its the first time im making a kit. Love the boxing ! The order came as is. They just slaped the delivery sticker on the lego box.. not so cool if given as a gift or resold.
