No signal loss if ethernet cable is pulled
Even when ethernet cable is securely plugged in, a lot of couplers allow ethernet cable a little travel. I had purchased other couplers ( iMBAPrice® RJ45 Coupler - (Pack of 25) Cat5e Ethernet Cable Extender Female to Female Straight Modular Inline Coupler ) that had very good reviews, but they lost connection when pulled. I verified this by using a cable tester - pull on the cable and a light corresponding to a pin would go out. Please note that I did not pull hard on the cable - just enough to move the jack out as far as it would travel without being disconnected. I decided to try the Ugreen Cat6 RJ45 couplers. These couplers were more expensive than the couplers mentioned above, but the superior build quality was immediately apparent. These couplers felt much more solid. As I had mentioned in my review of the other couplers, they came apart rather easily. I don't think this will happen to these couplers. I also tested each and every coupler with a cable before attaching them to my network. These couplers did allow the ethernet cable a bit of travel in and out, but there was no obvious signal loss when the ethernet was pulled out as far as it would travel (without being detached). I connected the couplers to my network and did a not-so-scientific speed test at DSL Reports just to see if there was something out of the ordinary. Everything seemed normal. I next transferred a large file that would require going over a gigabit switch connected to the couplers and the speed was normal (about 111 MB/s). These couplers do everything I need at a reasonable price, which is worth five stars to me. Now, I hope they just stand the test of time.

Better than every other RJ45 coupler that I've tried
I've tried a bunch of different couplers. In fact, the industry is exceptionally anti-coupler because of how notoriously unreliable they are. I've purchased many others in the past and they either lose connection over time, get disconnected randomly when pulled, or only connect at 100mbps. What I noticed immediately is that these Ugreen are quite a bit more expensive than the normal couplers that I've purchased but if the other products don't work well, you get what you pay for. The second thing that I noticed once I got these in the mail is that they are also quite a bit larger than the couplers I've used before. Of course that's probably due to the increased materials required to make them work well. In the end, these work exactly as expected and I couldn't be happier. I'll be buying these again when I run out but in the meantime I've finally found a coupler that is reliable and that's saying a lot.

Terrific accessory for IT personnel
Terrific accessory for IT personnel. I have had several cable runs where either the length of the cable was not long enough (bad planning) or one end of the cables got damaged by accident. This can be a time saver if you can't perform another run. I've had moments where I opted to re-terminate an RJ-45 cable, after its been damaged (cut in the sheath, exposing copper etc.) and simply connected these couplers to one end and extended the run with another cable. These devices work well with PoE powering one of our security cameras. And I haven't noticed any difference in latency or speed with these guys vs a straight cable run. One thing to note is our cable runs are typically less than 150ft. So I can't say for those situations where you get close to the 328 ft limit. You should be fine, but tread carefully.

Good product
The item worked great, but was a little bulky.

I wish I knew these existed before!
These allow you to chain together multiple Ethernet cords and extend your reach. They work perfectly, I’ve used them heavily and in a number of applications (running wires for lan parties, moving home office around based on comfort/temps). I haven’t noticed any bottlenecking. Much like legos… They hurt when you step on them. Place them carefully :)

NICE INLINE ETHERNET CONNECTORS
In my recording studio we have a lot of ethernet cables running around distributing audio from our two X32 mixers and multiple remote input boxes. These little in-line couplers are very handy when you need to add another cable for a little more length. I also have these mounted on my mixing console so I can place one of our headphone mixers near me and have a nice place to plug it in without a lot of wire all over the place. I like these and would order them again, they feel like better quality than some similar things I've used in the past. Good luck and good music to you!

Not stable
These worked fine for running cables over 100 ft, but POE performance was inconsistent. Some cameras worked, others didn’t. We also used one with a POE temperature sensor, which stopped receiving power after rerouting and patching the cable—now it runs on battery instead. So while they’re decent for long runs, don’t rely on them for stable POE.

Sturdy parts that yielded no discernable signal loss
I used these to connect Cat 5E cables from the walls in my house to patch cables into a network switch. These replaced a Leviton network punchdown module/panel which had failed. I tore out the panel and put RJ45 connectors on the cables from each room, then used these couplers to connect to the switch. It all works great. I see no degradation in network speed compared to measuring straight from the modem at ~ 1 Gbit. They're a little heavy so it's probably best to set them on something rather than leaving them hanging in the air, stressing the RJ45 connector.

I have purchased Ugreen products before and my first impression was the quality. These ethernet connectors are indeed very robust and work perfectly. I am using mine for a professional IP CCTV system and the signal connection shows perfect line input and output. I have also used one for my laptop and no loss on signal or broadband speed. I would highly recommend Ugreen quality products.
