The focal point of this windchime is a gorgeous Madrid saucer in pale amber. Overall, the windchime is about 18" long and 6" wide. The chimes are hand-cut stained glass, alternating pieces of pale amber (which perfectly matches the plate), and a clear glass with a delicate fern-like pattern. I drilled holes in the dish and each of the chimes and then put it all together with stainless steel wire, Swarovski crystals, and glass beads. The stainless ensures both strength and durability - all of my pieces can go outside in any weather (although you should bring it indoors on very windy days). Just as pretty indoors as out, this would make a perfect gift for a collector of vintage glass. **I run a green shop, using recycled packing including clean boxes, paper, bubble wrap and packing peanuts as often as possible.
