Another review described the tent as huge and it is indeed! Mine was a twin size tent assembled in our living room to cut back on window or room light disturbing overnight guests. Assembly requires a second person only to aid in inserting the very long poles through plastic guide rings, fabric sleeves and finally into corner reinforced fabric pockets. It's a matter of ruffling the material and bending the poles slightly more for a snug fit that braces the arched shape. It has no tie downs and open screened ventilation holes would make it suitable only for dry, wind-free outside days. I did not have it in place over a mattress so can not speak to its fit. There are double tabbed zippers on three sides that can be secured with fabric ties at the bottoms, elastic at the corners and an 8" fabric skirt that could be tucked under a mattress. My tent came with one strand of star-shaped 3-AA battery run LED lights that would decorate only one pole and only one approximately 7" tall 3-AA battery run dimmable LED lantern that hangs from the plastic ceiling hook. Batteries were not included. Instructions were not included either but assembly was simple after I found a web video. There is one fabric pocket that holds the light strand's battery pack and another for the tent's drawstring carrier bag. Remember to have a rubber band on hand to prevent the elastic strung poles from self reassembling. Will report back on how well the materials pack back into the bag. Kids would be ecstatic and adults charmed.
