Zinc is good for immune support and this Protéo-Zinc is chelated so it is more easily absorbed and processed by your body.We all know zinc is important to pregnant women to prevent certain birth defects but recently, I read that physicians are recommending that their patients take zinc, along with Vitamin D, Vitamin C and Vitamin B12 as there is evidence those vitamins can be protective against getting severe COVID. That's enough for me to start taking it. This one is in the form of smallish capsules and the dosage is one per day. There is a 2 month supply in the package.There is no way for me to tell if this, or any supplement, is having a beneficial effect but as the pandemic rages around me, I am happy to follow recommendations from physicians about how to mitigate my chances of getting severe COVID. I did call my doc first, to make sure she okayed me taking this supplement and you should, too.

I’ve been taking generic zinc since September by doctor’s order. Researched chelated zinc and found it is supposed to be absorbed better into your system. I’m not really noticing any difference, but I’m not any worse, so I assume it’s working.I DO like that these are capsules, rather then tablets or caplets. Tablets often have a taste to them and these don’t.Current price is $15.95, and I think that’s this product’s downfall. There are other Chelated Zinc products on the market for less money.

This is a very high content of zinc per capsule. Adults and children normally do not need so much zinc. However, because these are so high, we take one every few days just to be sure we don't over consume zinc. So far, we haven't noticed anything good nor bad, but it is reassuring to know that we have supported our immunity with this. Another benefit is the encapsulated zinc is broken down. With it being chelated, it helps with absorption by the body. Overall, we are pleased with this zinc based on quality/form of the zinc, price and quantity.

Protéo-Zinc | 60 Capsules | Immune Support with Albion TRAACS® Chelated Zinc appears to be a high quality product.I personally cannot tell if it "works" or not for the reasons I am taking it, to bolster my immune system by offering zinc in the quantity I need through the most bio-available delivery system I can get.What I can tell you are some important things -1) It is professionally manufactured, sealed (plastic shrink-wrap) with excellent quality capsule to the naked eye2) There are no telltale smells of any kind3) There is no taste of any kind4) I experienced no indigestion of any kind5) The capsule is very small and easy to swallow.6) The ingredients that I can see with the naked eye appear to be visually consistent - no difference in color, which is white, between one and the nextAlthough chelation is a good delivery system in many cases, I am not as convinced of the science of the Proteo Zinc, but only because I need to research it more.Until I began with this product, I had been taking a nootropic product and appreciate it.I plan to update this Review if there are any changes to report.

My doctor recommended taking Zinc, Vitamin C, and D every day to fight against Covid. I like that they are capsules since capsules are easy to swallow and act quickly. I feel a little nauseous after I take them but it's not too bad and manageable, and my other family members have no problem.
