Some of our customers request lightweight french barrettes. So we made this blue on blue one as slender and as light as we could. The design includes a raised, faceted, purple-blue dichroic centered strip as an accent to emphasize the colors in it that blend with the iridescent cobalt blue base. The sharp angles in the textured strip help to throw light and color around as you wear this piece. It's a textured finish look, yet very comfortable to wear. We used thinner glass to keep it as light as possible, for those with sensitive scalps, thin / fine hair, and migraine sufferers.
