How to Draw Faces: Learn to Draw People from Complete Scratch

It is clear and has very fine detail and great advice!

This is an excellent book to learn how to draw faces from. It gives step by step directions and drawings to use for examples.

My daughter who is only 11 totally smashed this portrait from following this book. She’s big into art and is very good at lots of drawings but struggled with faces. The two pictures attached are only 1 week apart!!! The first face she did was a section of face and couldn’t grasp it at all. Then I got her this booked and she followed it, it took her a total of 27 hours to complete the portrait but the end result was astonishing! The book from start to finish is only one face, but it’s well worth it, it goes into depth about shading, lighting, different pencils etc.

使用されるツールから、顔の正面を描くのみの本だが一番重要な、顔の縦横の比率、顔の各パーツの位置関係、パーツの持つ質感から、明暗迄ビッシリ描きこんである。顔に興味があるなら参考になると思う。
