I mean it takes hamburger cooking to an art. A tasty, delicious, glorious, cooking, and eating art. The rest of it (the book itself) is very tasty icing on a great tasting cake. Kudos to George!!! I just ordered another copy for my son. I thought about getting it in kindle version but a reviewer said the images were out of place. After seeing the book I’m glad I ordered the hardcover instead. I also ordered the companion hamburger places book. Can’t wait to get it.

Well worth the price
On a whim I bought this book along with a couple other burger books. I'm looking for ideas for using TVP to make vegetarian burgers and thought they might provide some ideas on other things I could mix into the TVP. This book alone was well worth the purchase. I already have a very impressive list of ideas on how to make what are hopefully some awesome vegetarian burgers (I know it sounds like an oxymoron; however, one has to do what they can to keep the family happy.) And even better it has this fabulous recipe for olive-mayo mix that is delicious on sandwiches.

The Finest Piece of American Literature I Have Ever Purchased
The quality of this printing is top notch. The information presented by George is fantastic and his recipes are even better. It is no wonder he is considered our nation's foremost burger expert. He has another book to check out as well, Hamber America. Recently he has published some videos with First We Feast on YouTube which are entertaining and informative; check them out.

Fantastic
Excellent book! I’ve tried nearly all these burgers and they’re all hits so far! Some are better than others but it’s definitely worth trying these burgers out.

George Motz is my hero
As a trained historian and cheeseburger lover, I can honestly say George Motz is my hero. He has invested years of research into a seemingly every day topic. He is fun, and teaches us not only about a national favorite dish, but also about our nation. The cookbook is fun and informative. The recipes are easy to follow. It also looks nice, having become a coffee table book in our home.

Awesome reference or cookbook
I have watched George for years on YouTube and had to buy his book. I don't know if there is anything in this book that I didn't see in one of the videos... but to have this as a reference and to support George by buying the book is mainly why I got it. I am not disappointed at all. Well worth the price of admission.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas however I looked at it already and it has beautiful pictures of burgers and I can’t wait till he makes them for me. They look delicious. They show all the ingredients and they seem to be items that you’d have in your pantry or fridge already

Nothings great about the book , i don’t find any good burger recipes. Totally disappointed

A truly brilliant book! Purchases for my partner who is a big fan of burgers and a lover of (some aspects!) of America. He loves this book and has cooked many of the recipes already. There is wonderful history of some fab burger joints, the recipes are easy to follow and cook up beautifully. Really interesting photos throughout.

Great book full of delicious ideas for the home of the hamburger. Here in Australia we have two types of burgers. ‘Plain’ : beef, tomato, onions, beetroot, tomato sauce (ketchup) lettuce on a toasted buttered bun. Or a ‘Burger with the Lot‘ : plain burger topped with a fried pineapple ring, bacon, fried runny egg and cheese! George’s book strips it all back to simple ingredients beautiful.
