Korean Walnut Cake (Hodo Kwaja) 18pcs

I love these "Walnut Balls" as they're called in one Korean store that I visited while traveling, here in the US. Now I'm addicted! They arrive, from this seller, before the estimated delivery date, which is always appreciated. In order to mitigate the shipping cost, I order two boxes at a time, place them in a zip-lock freezer bag, and snack at will - which led me to the discovery that I prefer them straight from the freezer! Nice and cold, but soft enough to chew. Try it, you might like it!

The filling in these is just red bean and walnut. The cakes are good and well-made, and really do look like walnuts.

Odd flavor. Wouldn’t recommend.

It's got a fun shape, but the flavor is way too bland for my tastes. Maybe I'm just overly used to intensely sweet American stuff, but the sweet red bean paste in the center is barely noticeable.

These arrived less than 24hrs from when I purchased them. They’re so fresh, not at all greasy and the most delicious. Even came with a surprise treat that I also really enjoyed. Gonna have to look up what other tasty treats this seller has to offer! Worth every penny and then some.

This. Was. The. Most. DELICIOUS PASTRY I HAVE EVER HAD! I l ove Korean Food and I was not hesitant to buy these because I have always seen my korean friends eat them and was curious as to what they were and how they tasted. Finally I have them in my grasp and they are beyond delicious..

Good cakes, although I wished the red bean could have been more sweeter.
