Really like the flexibility of positioning this product. The derailer cassette gear cleaner in the handle is a REAL nice added feature. Make sure you have a good chain cleaner solvent to use with this.

Looks like it will be helpful to me as I ride almost aways in the dirt, and cleaning the chain is a once a week chore. Well made and the brush design is good. Have not used sponges yet and not sure how well they will work.

I ordered this kit based upon my recent experiences cleaning my Greenspeed trike's chain. I studied the various options and this kit looks good to use with my trike chain the next time I clean it.

It works well. In hindsight, I'd have just used a rag and an old toothbrush, but this is rather handy. Shipped fast.

I ordered this for my husband. He has 3 different bikes. My daughter who rides him has 2. They both have mountain bikes. He has a bike to ride on the beach. So there are a lot of things to get dirty.My husband has started to repair bikes himself, being taught by a co-worked who used to work at a bike place. He is slowly building up his tool kit to do minor repairs and maintenance. When I came across this I figured it would be a great addition. He and his friends like to mountain bike and because we live in South Florida the trails are usually pretty muddy. Because we live closest to the trails, our house is frequently the place they all come for a "bike wash" after a day of riding. So I imagine this will get a lot of use. My husband used it for the first time this weekend. Our daughter who also rides recently decided she wanted a road bike. My husband found her a used one online.. it is a great bike, but it had been stored for a long while in a dusty storage unit, so it really needed a good cleaning. My husband spent the afternoon going over everything, doing a good tune up and cleaning as he went. He was very happy with he chain cleaner and he figured it saved him at lest 30 minutes of work. He is happy to have this tool in his tool box now, and I am happy to be giving less money to the bike shop. I received this product for a discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.

I saw a product similar to this at a biking basics class where they taught you how to fix a flat and do basic maintenance on your bike instead of spending $30 to have it tuned up/cleaned up/checked up every year. This product is easy to use and does the job. The bristles on the brush are pretty tough to get all the grit off the chain, the second piece with the sponge gets all the oil/lube off. I can even put my cleaning soluation (bike chain friendly of course) on the sponge before using it it. The handle houses a brush and another piece to help pick out anything stuck between the gears. This is very simple to use and does so many things to make the job easy. Definitely worth it. I did get this product for a reduced cost in exchange for my honest opinion!
