My cats drink from the same water bowl as my dog. Is this safe for cats?

Can these rocks be put in a gallon jug and then just pour water for my dog from the jug. I have a Great Dane and he eats rocks!

I have a question. You put 2 liters of water and 2 rocks in a jug. after 10 hours you pour the water into the bowl. but there will be remaining water in the jug that will sit longer than 10 hours. is this ok?

I've used these in the spring/summer so far. Is it as important to use over winter (cold climate) or is the grass less susceptible to burn in winter?

I use it year round. I figured it can't be good for the grass to drink that anytime of the year. I don't know however if the grass changes it sensitivity in the winter.

I have 7+ dogs in my home daily so we use a 4 gallon water dispenser. How many packs of rocks do you think we would need? I have to refill it weekly.

I’d probably try 2 or 3 packages. I think that would be about 6 or 9 rocks total. I do not think you’ll need to replace them as often as the directions recommend. I’m still using my original 6 rocks a year later.

These came with a lot of dust on them, seemed like concrete or something similar? After they had been washed thoroughly, my dog unfortunately took them out the water bowl and tried to chew them. They broke into smaller bits so they had to get binned off
