We loved these transitioning from traditional products to plant based products. These are very good and taste authentic without the meat. As a family of 10 it is important that items we buy are enjoyed by everyone. Great quality and price. Plus Amazon is the only place I can find this still not sold locally to me.

I use it to make beef seitan, put it in beef stew with mock meat, or even just to kick up the flavor on beans! Tastes very beefy, 10/10 would recommend!

I bought this to use in beefless stew. It really gives the flavor of beef broth without the actual beef. It's a little pricey for the amount, but it's worth it.

5 Stars!!! - BEST Beef Flavor Base I've Ever Tasted !!! Vegan or Meat Based. Searched and tried so many vegan "beef flavor" pre-made seasoning mixes/packets, cubes, recipes, etc. for over 15 years and never could find one that wasn't too onion-y, or garlicky, or even came close to an authentic beef flavor, without any beef in it. Finally, found the one! This is the only one I will ever be using and ordering from here on out. This truly tastes so good to me, that I would definitely cook with this for non-vegans/non-vegetarians. The smell, aroma, and the taste of the broth created is amazing. Some will not believe that this does not have any beef product in it. This (and the Chicken base one) will be my go-to bases for cooking gravies, broth, soup, broth for my homemade seitan "meats", etc. Have added a photo of some of my "beef" and "chicken" seitan "meats made with this RC Fine Foods Beef Flavor Base. (Have written the same for the Chicken Base product, too.)

I have been looking for a good sub for Beef base/bouillon. this stuff is wonderful No MSG, no meat ingredients, etc. flavor is very similar to beef. I have used it in marinade for portobellos for a little more beefy flavor, I have used it in my ramen broth for more flavor, and a few other recipes anything I want to taste more like a beef dish I add some of this. just be Aware, like other bouillon/bases it's salty. so be mindful or don't add salt until you taste.

I’m a crazy soup lady and I put it in all of them so I do keep this on my subscribe list but ALSO this stuff is literally good on everything.When it first came in the mail, I wanted to taste the flavor so I dipped a chip into it.Refried beans.I sprinkled it on popcorn the other day!Rice.I made a seitan roast and used this as both the broth and mixed with the vital wheat gluten.Seriously, guys, it’s the best seasoning.
