​I am a long-time user of the original heavy Weleda Skin Food, but sometimes it's just too rich for daytime use or warmer weather. When the "Light" version came out, I was skeptical—could it possibly deliver the same level of intense hydration without the thick, dense feeling? The answer is a resounding yes! ​Texture & Feel: This cream is a dream. It has a beautiful, whipped texture that is noticeably lighter than the original. It absorbs quickly, leaving absolutely no greasy residue, which makes it perfect for use under makeup. It provides immediate relief to dry patches without making my skin feel suffocated. ​Hydration & Results: It contains the same beloved blend of natural ingredients (including sunflower oil, lanolin, and extracts of pansy, rosemary, and calendula), and my skin looks and feels deeply nourished after applying it. It combats dryness, reduces flaky patches, and leaves a healthy, radiant glow. It’s light enough for morning use but powerful enough to heal my skin overnight. ​Recommendation: If you love the intense results of the classic Skin Food but need something that sinks in faster, works well in humid climates, or serves as a lighter, daily facial moisturizer, the Skin Food Light is the perfect substitute. Tried this out as soon as I got because every beauty article or celebrity beauty secret mentions the weleda skin.food cream. I assumed the light cream meant it would soak in your quickly..light as in a summer weight moisturizer not light as in lighter consistency. This is a high moisturizing cream despite the "light" description. I love it because we have crazy windy weather or extremely dry weather in the winter where I layer on 3 types of moisturizers so my skin doesn't feel dry. I think for me this would not be an everyday moisturizer in the summer but a once a week you need a deep moisturizering treatment type situation. In the winter I can see myself using it everyday. It greats for sensitive skin, I have felt a bit of tingling throughout the day but I think that is the actives actually moisturizering as my skin didn't get red, itchy or hot as it does when it reacting badly to a product. It does have a light herbal scent that quickly dissipates when you apply it but if you are really sensitive to scent it might be too strong for you.

Je mets cette crème le matin, ma peau n’a jamais était aussi glowy! J’ai tendance à avoir la peau irritée et des plaques de sécheresses par endroits et vraiment cette crème combinée à la plus épaisse le soir, c’est mon combo gagnant! La texture est fluide et légère, parfaite tenue du maquillage par au dessus!
