Great Product
I have yet to use these on the road but do have to say the company is great. When my order arrived they sent me the set only for the RV; not the other four needed for my Toad. I called the number on the shipping voucher and guess what; I got a real person on my first call. We quickly realized that the wrong box had been picked and shipped. He told me that the other four would be shipped immediately. This was on a Monday and they arrived on Wednesday. The base unit is set to the type rig/tires you have. As the unit I had was set for the six RV tires it needed to be reprogrammed for the additional Toad tires. I had been told to call back when these four arrived and he would talk me thru the re-programming phase. I called back and was told to install my new Toad tire sensors on my Toad and to call back. I did this and was talked thru the re-programming of the unit to pick up the Toad's sensors. HOORAY for HCI's customer care department.I have since installed the sensors on the RV. I was a bit worried that they would not fit without a valve extension but they did. There is a rubber O ring associated with the female end of the sensor so when I screwed them on the tire stem there was a minimal amount of air loss. There is also a set screw with three screw holes around the female end. On four of my tires I had to reposition the set screw to another hole so I could properly tighten them with the supplied allen wrench. It takes some time for the tire sensors to be picked up by the base unit but once it does it cycled through the 10 tires from front to rear. Also note that each sensor is labeled as to which tire they go on. So you don't need to program the unit, that is done by HCI. Unless of course you want to add sensors or they send you the wrong box in which case you can call them for re-programming instructions.UPDATE: on my last trip I ran over something in the road. The sensor was instrumental in letting me know I had a problem. I was able to get to the side of the road before the tire went completely flat. The red warning light came on as programed. Glad I had it.UPDATE2: I have had this system for over a year now. I have had to replace two batteries and yes they are hard to find so I bought several when I eventually found them. (I am leary of buying batteries off of the net...) Make sure you have the monitor turned on and near the sensor when you change the battery. It should beep when the new battery is put in. Also be careful with the rubber O-ring. I am trying to find some spares but have yet to receive them from customer support.

Company unavailable for replacement parts.
These have worked good for the last 5.5 years except now I need replacement sensors but I cannot get a reply from the company. Update; still no reply from the company. I’m having to scrap this unit and change brands because the company doesn’t respond.

Consider other TPM Systems before buying this one!
The ONLINE Manual is VERY POORLY WRITTEN and ONLY THRU TRIAL AND ERROR WAS I ABLE TO FIGURE OUT THE SEQUENCE TO ADJUST THE SETTINGS.The Customer Service by this company is HORRIBLE! They will not answer Emails or contact you via telephone!About the Only good thing about this system is the fact you can change the batteries in the Sensors!

A big deal ~
This is no doubt a very good system functionally; the woman who had one on her Winnebago and recommended it to me thought so. What she AND the seller/manufacturer didn't mention is that the nifty, commendable (in concept) flow-thru RV sensors are so large that they barely fit in my commonplace (a Tiffin Phaeton) Alcoa wheels' cutouts, and could not possibly be turned so as to actually screw them on; valve extensions must be used and, as seen on my friend's unit, made them conspicuous, tempting for theft, and (IMHO) unattractive. The non-flow-thru units would fit, but so do the PressurePros I already own.Check your wheel cutouts and attitude toward valve extensions first.

Very pleased with the Tire Safe Guard system
Very pleased with the Tire Safe Guard system. First on the 10 tire system used on my 6 tire RV with a 4 tire tow vehicle I did not need a signal booster and got good signals. Plus on my first trip they kept me from overheating a low tire on my dual axle. Since I have always been interested in safety I can now monitor one of the most important parts of my RV that our life depends on.

I having some issues
This was easy to install although the instructions aren't the greatest. Two of the six sensors did not work on my inside dual positions. They would not seal and therefore leaked. This is probably a fit problem between the sensor and my valve extensions. I'm still working on a solution. I may need a signal booster as my monitor doesn't consistently report information on all wheel positions. The concept is great if it worked more consistently.

Much better than a set where the batteries had run out
Works very well. The trailer gauges are readable at over 80 feet away. Much better than a set where the batteries had run out, and could not be replaced. We have moved the trailer gauges to several different trailers and tow vehicles. Very handy!

Tire pressure monitor
Everyone should know what pressure and temperature they are running in their tires. It is interesting to see the pressure and temperature build up as you move down the road. I never had this information available to me before. The flow through sensors are really great. Can leave them on while camping and increase/decrease tire pressure as necessary.
