Great Album, Mediocre Print
I love anything Madlib and this album is no exception, but I noticed that this printing company gives consistently low quality presses with big gaps in between songs (have a PB Wolf vinyl with same quality control issues).Very low surface noise, so they got that going. Also, this is not the vinyl advertised, but a variation of it.

Another J Dilla CD to add to the collection
Always mixed reviews from song to song, but overall the collaboration of Madlib an J Dilla is nothing short of unique and interesting. The CD sounds very "raw" (like a mixtape), which I like. I also like the story about how the album was made without the two of them being in the same room. My favorite songs are "The Red", "The Exclusive", and "Starz". I love J Dilla's sound and this is just another great CD to add to any collection for those who like great hip-hop producers. I also recommend this to whoever is a Pete Rock, DJ Premier, and 9th Wonder fan.

Failure
Disjointed and non cohesive this project fails on almost every level. 'The Red', The Heist' and 'The Mission' are pretty dope but the rest of it feels incomplete and thrown together.Would have been much better with all full length songs and Madlib plus a bunch of guest emcees on each track as Dilla is horrific on the mic.95% of this feels like both guys just messed around one weekend in their respective labs and then Stones Throw was like 'what the eff' lets release this.

J Dilla
Priceless double album. Track 16 on the first disc "Starz" is one of my faves to put on at night and just look up to the night sky and imagine what a better life would be like. Missin J Dilla.

Critique Jaylib - Champion Sound Deluxe Edition

Consegna puntuale
