INTERESTING THAT A 4 INCH BLADE CAN HAVE ONLY 2-1/2 INCHES OF TEETH
I have used the Diablo blades before in longer lengths and for cutting metal they really do work well. My only complaint is that the 4" size they are claimed to be INCLUDES THE SHANK THAT GETS MOUNTED INTO YOUR SAW, and the toothed portion of the blade is only 2-1/2" long. At MOST these should be called a 3" blade.

It's a fast cutter!
I used this to cut a jack hammer bit that was stuck in solid rock blue rock. The bit was at least 1 1/4" thick steel, and the blades went right through it using a battery powered M12 Milwaukee mini-hacksaw.These blades totally changed my thinking on cutting metal. Now it can be done with some pretty small tools that in the past I never would have considered using. The resulting cuts are neat and clean with no sparks, but most of all FAST. I would consider using these blades for a lot of operations where normally I would have used a 4 1/2" cut-off grinder. My mom first turned me onto these after using them to cut through solid fan shafts when doing HVAC fan replacements. With these blades she can get into ceilings and onto rooftops with a smaller lighter compliment of tools. It just makes sense business wise.

4” blade is really short
These blades are really short at the at the end of the pull stroke and will exit the cut violently if you do not hold the saw up against the material being cut. That said they are tough as nails. On several occasions (dozen+) the blade exited the cut and violently hammered the work piece sending shock waves through my hands, wrist and forearms. After each incident I inspected the blade and is as straight as the day I removed it from the packaging and all the teeth are still in place as well as sharp.I bought the short blade because of clearance issues which the vehicle I am cutting into. The blade that I attempted to use initially(labeled metal cutting) just jerked the saw and chattered loud protest at every stroke. I am pleased with the speed and durability of these blades.

Cuts hardened steel like butter
Lost the keys to my abus bike lock and bought a couple different blades to try to cut it. Two other blades barely scratched the hardened steel and I was starting to worry. Popped this one in and less than 3 seconds later my bike was free. I would rank these higher than 5 stars of possible.
