New BalanceWomen's Made in Us 990 V5 Sneaker

So I love my NB 990v5 (navy/silver) so much that I ordered the gray/castlerock color, same model, same size and today I received the attached shoes in a NB box appropriately labeled for my purchase, but containing these stinky, dirty, large size men’s Nike brand UGLY shoes. The shoe box was inside a larger sealed box that contained several packages I ordered. So, obviously, my shoes were stolen and the used men’s shoes inserted in the box at a distribution center. In my thousands of Amazon orders, I have NEVER had this happen and I am shocked and dismayed that there is no quality control or verification of orders being shipped out to make sure something like this doesn’t happen. I returned the box the same day I received it and I have re-ordered the shoes I want. I sure hope it doesn’t happen again.

I have plantar fasciitis and have to purchase shoes that fit my custom orthotics. I have been wearing NB 990v4 for years and when I recently needed to purchase a new pair of shoes, I thought I would try v5. I absolutely love them! They were comfortable from the first moment I put them on and required absolutely no break in period. I walked 3 miles with my dogs on the first day that I wore them and had absolutely no pain whatsoever! They fit my custom orthotics perfectly and run true to size, unlike other NB styles. I have tried other brands of shoes - Brooks, Asics, etc. but NB 990v5 are the best. Yes, they are pricey but worth every penny, IMHO.

This sneaker is a big improvement over the older 990V4 ladies sneaker. It offers much better support and cushioning. I thought the 990V4 was good until I wore the new 990V5, which I just purchased from Amazon. I really see a difference. Delivery was prompt. Highly recommended.

I saved my money to buy these sneakers for work! I have 2 pair already, and they save my feet. Unfortunately, these suck!!! They are not the same shoe, even though they say are. My feet hurt with their inserts and with mine and with a third insert I tried. I wasted over $100 thinking I would get a great pair of New Balance like I had!! So disappointed and wondering where I can get decent shoes for work now.

NB 990s are the most supportive, long-lasting athletic shoes I've ever had. I've worn earlier versions for years. V5 is also comfortable, but seem a little tighter in the toe box and less soft in the heel. They just don't feel as good as earlier versions. Luckily I found a pair of V4s in my size, and they fit perfectly--plenty of toe room, supportive all over. If you have narrow feet, the V5s in medium should be fine. If you have regular/medium feet, you may or may not like the shoe hugging your little toe more than the other versions.

Very nice looking shoe, seems that it will be very comfortable, although it seems to run just a half size to small. I normally wear a 9.5 in Nikes, but this 9.5 is quite tight. I'm going to keep them and hope they stretch a bit, because I do like them. EDIT: Changed my mind, just too tight. Returning.

I almost wore out my 990v4 shoes which were prescribed for me due to foot problems (sinus tarsi syndrome, falling arch). I have to remove the liner the shoes come with and insert my orthotic but they are always comfortable and I can wear them all day. They helped my feet enormously. When I saw there was a new version (990v5) I decided to get them instead of another 990v4. They are every bit as supportive but they have a tiny bit more room in the toe box and a seem to be just a tiny bit wider. Breaking them in was effortless for me because of these changes. They also have a plastic bar along the sides which I’d call a stability bar that helps to keep your foot from rolling to the side. They feel the same as the previous model. I love the pink color.

This product was a gift to my girlfriend and she absolutely loved it. These sneakers have such great material that you don’t want to get them dirty but at the same time wear them until the sole cracks.

Great shoes, perfect size and just as pretty as expected! I was a little concerned about the delivery but they came within 10 days which was what they promised.

Delivery was bit late than schedule but I'm very happy with this shoes and it is so comfortable! highly recommend.
