My new go to resin
I decided to try the 'red' colored version of this resin, based on the settings they show in the pictures listed on the product page. I used it to print a dragon I have but hadn't printed yet. This resin did what they said it would, it prints faster, it's thinner, so it is easier to work with over the other water washable resin I was using (a brand that rhymes with 'smell a who') which is great. But what I didn't expect is how much more durable this resin is, it's more flexible, it's not as brittle, and the detail is incredible. So I then decided to try their 'purple' color and I wasn't disappointed in the least.Once again, it prints much quicker on my Mars 3, it's about 30% faster than the 'smell-a-who' resin, so it saves time, it's easier to clean, and it's less likely to break from being brittle.I highly recommend trying this resin.*UPDATE* I have since used the grey and clear resins as well and all work great, the clear has some yellowing, which seems a common issue but it works really well and the yellow issue isn't a worry if you paint over it.The grey is also very high quality, I like the color of the purple a bit better but this grey resin is great.Buy some Rich-Opto Water Washable resin if you are into resin 3D Printing, this is great stuff.

Surprised by the low price for something this good.
Ok so... I haven't been using this resin for long but I have been using it A LOT recently.PROS:-The price... is unbeatable.-Water washable: I've read a lot of comments here and forums about how the community does not trust water washable resins but you should trust this one. It's incredibly easy to rinse the excess of resin with no odor at all, no real harm to the skin (although I still wear gloves), no "fumes" watering your eyes... The fact that it is water washable makes the post processing part very easy.I use a container where I collect all the water and resin used to wash, put it to the sun, cure the leftovers and the I can use that water again. It's actually more eco friendly when "getting rid of the residues".-The texture: If you rub some cotton with denatured alcohol before post curing you can totally change the appereance of the surface... you can leave the plastic-like texture (kind of shinny) or give it a ceramic-like matte texture.-Virtually no odor while printing, no odor while washing... the only time I've noticed the smell is during the post-curing process and is still very low.-Works fine with rapid exposure time. I've tried with 2.5 seconds per layer and I'm currently trying with 1.5, I think it will work fine with less, even.GENERAL THINGS I LIKE but couldn't say if they are pros or cons:-The color: is not really white, but kind of Ivory-It does not look like, but it is flexible, a little. So you can use it to print parts that you need to apply some force to without breaking.-Easy to paint with acrylic paint. Like most resins, if you rub too hard on the paint or "scratch it" it will come off, but, it adheres good enough to the surface to get a good even layer paint on your model. We also covered one print with acrilyc spray and it looks amazing. No painting coming off and no damage was done to the resin. With acrylic paint we have seen no cracking, no flaking, no clumpling.CONS:-Not great detail. Although, I must say that maybe I'll find better settings with the printer to improve this point. I use a Creality LD-002H. The settings are in the images of the review. Like I said, this have worked for me so far, but I intend to improve the "detail part".-Careful with the post-curing time. If exposed for long or too close to the UV bulb, the resin will turn pink, a palid shade of pink, but pink nonetheless. I leave my prints no more than 30 minutes under the direct UV light when big and about 90 minutes per face when small, I have no idea why depending on the size there is so much difference in the times, but, it seems to work for me. Notice that I have to turn my prints manually under the light, i don't hace a turntable or a very complex post-curing station.-Shrinking is noticeable. I mean, it doesn't bother me really, but if I print something with a flat surface directly on the printers platform it won't stay flat. In order to achieve that "flatness" you must add a base and supports so that your model does not "contain" any 'bottom layers'.-Rich-ophto's site seems to be under construction now, so, asking them things directly is complicated, if not imposible (by the time this review was written). I had to figure out many thing about the resin myself, causing me to loose some of it in the testing. The bran is new, not many people using it, so there is no a lot of info on the internet about it yet. If you want to know about how this resin works, you will have to find out yourself.And... if I come across some new important detail, I'll upgrade the review. Some pics are of a dinosaur model I printed for a cake to make it look like a fossil. In order to do that I had to make sure the model was completely cured and washed... it worked fine. I didn't put it in the oven, I put the model just as decoration after the cake was baked. Loved how the ivory color make de "bone" look more realistic (maybe not as a fossil, but as a bone). The chocolate didn't stain the resin. And... well, now you have an idea of what to do for your next birthday with this great resin :)

Great Brown Resin, Works Well with Prusa SL1S
Update: Had a failed print, moved up to 2.5s exposure and have been good since, also been adding a bit more supports.---So I got this for a project where I needed brown and fast. Got it next day, and it seems to work well with the standard Prusa Tough Orange Resin settings. I believe I'm doing 2s/layer with 24s/first layer. and .05 layers.Water cleanup seems to be the case, though in some ways its less convenient than IPA, as the resins seems to "settle out" of IPA and pool at the bottom, and you can pour off relatively clean IPA off the top after letting it sit a while, with water, I saw no tendency to do that, it just stays mixed in. I have a gravel road behind the house, I just poured it off there, figure the sun will cure it on the rocks and I'll have slightly colored plasticized rocks :)Strength and flexibility seems pretty good, not overly brittle, haven't done any significant testing on it though.

Out of serveral brands this has been the best so far, great resin. But...
Let me just start by saying the resin has been great so far. Getting good detail and a fast speed, smell is minimal, cheap especially for water washable, I even like the color as it makes it easy to see the detail and how much resin is in my vat a just a passing glance. The down side: I have ordered 2 containers of this resin now with about a one week gap. In the first case the resin arrive 2 days before it expires and the other was already 4 days expired when it arrived having come from the same batch. I am still getting great prints out of it but I am getting failures now on prints I know worked on the first day I tried the resin. They are still out right failures but its like gaps where the print just gave up for awhile before continuing on just part of a model like an arm or leg. It could always be user failure but I can't find any difference between before and now with the exception of the aging product; I am even printing the same sliced file. I hope and doubt this will an ongoing issue. I want to buy more but I don't know when I can next order some and it not continue to be expired. So for now I guess I have to look at other resins. Out of the 5 brands I have tried this seems to be the most promising I currently give it a 4 out of 5 overall with a potential 5 out of 5 if they just replace the stock with a fresh batch.

Great quality
I've bought broth the grey and the clear and have had great results with both. I will say that the clear is a lot stronger. The grey can be a bit brittle. When I was running out of grey I missed some clear with it and found the prints to be less brittle as well but for the most part every comes out great.

Un muy buen producto
Un muy buen producto, quizás pierde un poco la calidad de detalle al imprimir pero la transparencia es muy buena, es un producto muy grato comparado a la buena calidad que da.

Which would you choose?
Which brand would you choose? I used a Elegood Saturn 3D printer. I would pick a Elegoo water washable resin. But due to pricing I will also pick up a less known brand of washable resin "RICH-OPTO". I use the Elegood brand of resin first and discover the strong odour present in the resin. Then I used the RICH-OPTO and the result amazed me. 100% odour for Elegood and 1% odour for RICH-OPTO. Looking for less odour you must use "RICH-OPTO". You must not believe what I said. But must comfort and verify what I did." Try the experiment and verify what I tell you.
