This is a really solid and easy to install iPhone holder. Took me 1 minute to install. The only caveat is that your phone’s case can’t be too bulky (a regular think iPhone case is fine, but not a bulky wallet iPhone case unless it’s thin at the back). Fits my iPhone 11 better than my iPhone 12 Pro Max though—latter okay if thin case.

Broke right away. Wished the magnet mount was stronger. Had to buy another mount as there are no replacement parts. Plastic with magnet broke really easy. Qould consider buying replacement parts BUT theres none. The other tab on the other corner is pointless as there is no where to buy the correct part.

This item looked great on paper. The mount sliding over the LCD screen easily, the position of the phone, and the little case for sunglasses all looked exactly like what I wanted. But in the end I was a little disappointed.First, the installation was really easy, this was probably the only thing that met my expectations. It slid over my 2018 Model 3 LCD display with no problems. The felt padding in the mount gave me confidence that it would not scratch the back side of the display.Onto my gripes…The mount is very wobbly. Not enough to make my phone fall out, but enough so that its vibrations make looking at my phone and touching the screen pretty annoying. I expected a much more stable mount. Position wise, it puts the phone at a decent place to reach, and if you angle it right, it will not block the shifter display (P R N D), ASSUMING YOU HAVE THE RIGHT SIZED PHONE, which leads me to the next gripe.I don’t know why more people didn’t mention what type of phone they are using. I have an iPhone 12 in a pretty thin case. IMO, this is the closest to ideal size for the mount, maybe a phone a little wider and shorter would be better. If the phone is any less wide, the mount will not hold it tight. If the phone is a lot wider, it will be much more difficult to slide in and out of the mount. If the phone was any taller, it would wobble even more. If the phone was thicker, it also wouldn’t be grabbed by the mount as well. Bottom line, the mount isn’t very versatile. And while my iPhone 12 and case may be the closest to ideal phone size for this mount, overall, from an absolute point of view, it is still pretty far from ideal. It just feels like it could be a lot secure. I will say, the little cutout on the bottom of the mount does make routing a charging cable pretty easy though.For $30, I expected a lot more. However, it wasn’t so expensive that I’m going to return it. It is serviceable and much better than leaving my phone in the tray far below the Tesla’s display. That said, I will keep my eyes out for a more ideal phone mounting solution.

Holds phone too close to screen. Blocks the corner from being touched or seen. Should stick out further. Unfortunate design.

I keep the main part on the screen all the time with my glasses in the back. It is easy and convenient to put the phone holder which is great on and off as required.

I have to say the material of the parts is up to the standard however the quality control isn’t great. When I pulled off my phone, the holder keeps coming out with it and it’s very annoying that o have to put it back every time. One day it just snapped and now i have no use of it. Wouldn’t recommend unless they improve the quality
