so far, this is excellent - more than twice my aging battery pack's runtime. I'm using an older envy with an i7-4700MQ, an Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller, and an SSD boot drive (256G), and spinner data drive (1T). Anyway, runtime without power was getting down around 2 hours on my old pack which was getting somewhat aggravating, keeping me to a couple of sprints and a couple of breaks.This new battery - even not yet broken in - is pushing 4 hours now. Highest runtime so far is 3h 47 mins. Oh, my operating system is Debian linux v8, and while it does use cpu throttling and some power aware stuff, mostly I like it to perform well enough to use, hence the reason it doesn't get 8hrs!anyway, point being, this battery is a good one, my charging supply doesn't get any warmer charging it, it doesn't get particularly warm in the laptop, all is well, and for the price - it's an easy choice.

So far, so good.. I was having problems with my original HP battery (3 years old) not giving me any "low battery" warning before just shutting down. this new battery seems to be holding a good charge, and gives me 3 warnings before dying. It doesn't say HP on the back, and instead of saying Boeblingen, Germany, it says something else..? otherwise, it is working fine. For $35, it was a pretty good deal! lets see if I can get 3 years out of this one!

I was worried it wont fit but it was a perfect fit. Slipped it in, charged it over night and now i can carry my laptop around.

Was disappointed in battery life. Ordering process was easy and product delivered as expected. This battery was the last one available for my HP Envy.

Bought this as a replacement when my original battery came to the end of its life cycle. This battery worked great in the beginning, but after just a few months will drain from a full charge to nothing in a matter of minutes. The seller has been easy to work with and responded to my inquiry in a timely manner. I will be receiving a replacement shortly.

After a couple days this battery is awesome! My factory battery that came with the laptop has died overtime. This was a great replacement and its nice to not be connected to the charger all the time now! Great quality battery, thanks!
