The 39-Story Treehouse Audio CD – CD, April 5, 2016

I have an 11 year old son who is a very reluctant reader. I am constantly on a mission to find something he will read. This is probably the first chapter book he has completed in a year and I didn't even have to nag him to do it. I immediately bought another one from the series when I saw that it was in winner. He likes all of the crazy treehouse rooms and the dumb stuff the kids do in it. He often would come point out and read a passage to me that made him laugh out loud and of course it made me roll my eyes but I was happy to see it had his attention.

This entire series is fantastic - 13 Story, 26 Story, 39 Story- and now my son is clamoring since I showed him on Amazon that there IS a 52 Story TreeHouse book that is coming out here this spring... he is dying for this thing... I get asked every week - "when, when, when... will it come"...Great job with this - I've read through some of it and it's silly, I like the wording and I believe it's helped hook my boy who has been tough to pin down on reading - it's helped hook him into enjoying stories. He would take the time to read this to my 5 year old daughter who would sit and laugh... they loved this!!! Seemed like each book got a little bigger too - we have the entire series (13, 26, and 39 Story Treehouse books).Thank you very much and we look forward to more of what you write!!!Regards,Joe.

My 7-year old son cannot get enough of this book and its associated series. Be warned, though, that the book does use the word "stupid" and may undo your efforts to use the word "silly" as a substitute (because, you know, if an adult has a kid say "stupid" in a book then in must be A-OK.)

My grandson can't get enough of these Treehouse books. This is the third I have read to him and he loves the humor in them He is only four, and I think he will enjoy re-reading them for years to come.

My 9 year old isn't a big reader, but he loves all the books by Andy Griffiths. He has read so many of his books and it's inspired him to read other things now. It all started with the "The Day My Butt Went Psycho" book and now he stays up late at night reading all sorts of things.

My grandson and I have been reading these books together. We have fun laughing at all the silly things these kids do.

Best books/series ever for a 2nd grade boy! My son can't get enough Andy Griffiths and all his friends at school have borrowed them when we finish them. The boys LOVE this series! Anything to get my son to read like this makes me happy!!! My 4th grade daughter even loved the parts her brother read aloud to her. We need more authors like this!

I ordered this for my Kindle Fire. My ten year old grandson loves this series! He remembers everything from each book. Fun to read, but does not always work well on my Kindle Fire. The text on the illustrations is too small. Wirks better as a print book.

My 8-yr old daughter has devoured this series. She has shared it with both boy and girl-friends and everyone loves it equally as much as her. The latest instalment, with 39 stories, didn't disappoint. My only complaint is she reads them too quickly and them begs for the next! Such a great format combining graphics and text to build confidence in emerging readers.

Loved this book my son has now decided he wants to build a tree house and is writing his own story. I would totally recommend this book it's enjoyable for all ages.

These books allow the younger child to follow the story in pictures and the older child to have a go at reading it.
