There are a lot of very good reviews on this product but a lot don't go into enough detail.I've purchased this Item 4 times over the past 3 years and have "finally" received a set of the " cheap flimsy ones that I've always read about"They come in a box that looks virtually the same, the only difference is the box states 9.9 pounds instead of 12 pounds - the box is also slightly smaller and all of the writing (while the same down the product number ) is a dark blue instead of a green. The 9.9 pound box of bluerays I got had a bunch of broken cases and the plastic and the cases themselves are a LOT smaller than the standard ones ordered. I went to return the broken / cheaper cases and the shop I bought from sent me out a replacement order (which was nice of them) I was worried I was going to get another set of cheap cases but was sent the 12 pound box of "GOOD" ones.If you are going to buy this product, to make sure you are getting the good ones (check the side of the box and make sure it has printed on it "12 pounds" (which actually matches what is in the description for product weight here on amazon). If you are sent the 9.9 pound ones and you don't mind or feel they are crappy by all means keep them... but after you know what they are "supposed" to be like, you won't accept anything less.

I have ordered this product twice now, and the second time I got a totally different set of 100 double Blu Ray boxes ........ they were obviously made by different manufacturers, even though the selling company's product description and product # was the same. This second set of boxes are more flimsy than the first set and don't stay snapped close very well. Additionally, they are boxed with the cases wrapped in 4 groups of 25 .......... a clear, fairly heavy strip of plastic film surrounds the cases and is sealed........... this "wrapping" was stretched to tightly, causing the cases at either end of the 25 group to warp. I ended up throwing away 16 cases, 2 from each end of the 4 groups. More than that were warped, but those were the most severe and would not bend back straight. The slight warping of the others near the ends of the grouping only exacerbated the inability to stay snapped close. Needless to say, I wish I had received the same cases as the first order. Buyer beware!

If you have a lot of media (blu ray) and need protective cases; this is the way to go. I tend to get the doubles because the pricing is pretty similar to that of the singles cases and I really don't want hundreds of cases to store until use. The quality of the cases is the same as the blu ray discs you buy; they have the blu ray wording stamped on them just like them too. A few years back Amazon was shipping them out single boxed and occasionally they would arrive with some damaged. Amazon credited me immediately so that was not a problem. My last few shipments have been double boxed and arrived in perfect condition. If you try and buy these at a retailer you'll pay 5 x the price. Shop around on Amazon and see who has the best deal that day. All in all a very good case at a great price and shipping was fast.

These cases are decent quality. They aren't top-of-the-line by any means, but they are not the flimsy, plastic-tears-at-a-touch things that I've seen other people describe. They are good cases at a very good price for what you get, especially with the free shipping.I use these to replace the single cases on blu-rays that I get for which I already have the DVD. Transfer the blu-ray disc and the liner into one of these, put the DVD in the other side of the case, and I have both formats in less space than the DVD itself took up.My box arrived packaged inside of another box, with packaging material in between to absorb shocks. Everything arrived in good condition, with no broken cases.

100 of these babies? Why did I order so many? Because it allows me to move a DVD I already own into the same case as it's replacement blu ray. If you already own the DVD of movie and then buy the blu ray version, you can swap the artwork into this double disk unit and keep the new blu ray and old DVD together, saving space on the shelf in the process. This also allows you to increase the number of upgraded movies to blu ray without the wife realizing you are doing it because the shelf space stays the same!Oh yes - the quality of these cases are very good. At least as good as the cases the movies came in.
