These plates are lovely! They aren't perfect by any stretch - there's some amount of variance in the shape especially - but they're sturdy and they don't get saturated if there are liquids on them, without resorting to plastic. You definitely pay a premium for them but if you're environment conscious, they're an excellent middle ground between paper and wood.

They do stock however, they are not all the same shapes exactly. Everyone said they felt like real bamboo, and they held up extremely nicely.

At our wedding, we wanted to eliminate as much plastic waste as possible, but we also wanted our disposable dinnerware to be elegant and classy. I came upon these and was so stoked to find them. They are far superior in durability to paper and plastic disposable plates as they are thick and sturdy. Each plate is also different in character, which I feel adds to the beauty of them.I absolutely love that these plat4es are made of leaves and that they are such a good, sustainable alternative to other disposable goods.TIP: If you are thinking of using these for your wedding, or another event that you want to class up, my coordinator suggested using real glassware, and real linens/napkins to elevate disposable cutlery and plates. She was 100% spot on.

The plates were exactly what I expected when they came. They were very sturdy and good quality.

Loved it. Used these for a small gathering celebrating a friend. People loved them. Don’t hesitate to purchase these plates !
