Spirit Keeping & Spirit Vessels (The Daemonolater's Guide)

Every person interested in working with demons or demonolatry should read this. I couldn't believe when I saw demons and spirits advertised for sale on Etsy. But,it's true. S. Connolly, as usual, is 100% correct on everything she writes about her take on this appalling practice. Her advice is spot on. Learn how to practice properly and respectfully.

There are very few resources available for spirit keeping. Almost unheard of for the LHP practitioners. This book is the real facts, cold and straight from one of the most experienced Demonolater presently alive. The author is prolific and all of her books are a must read.

I like this book, and feels that it answers questions about these items well. I also appreciated that the authors were blunt about this practice. Someone has to be.This book is sure to frustrate bad artisans. The truth is, if your crafts on Etsy won't sell without you having to lie about having shoved a demon inside them, you're a terrible crafter. Thousands of Pagan--and Satanic!--crafters sell their wares every day without having to stoop to such tactics. If you can't then you need to take art classes, not close down one shop and open another under a different name so you can keep conning more unsuspecting folks.The thing is, people beyond these authors have begun to speak up. Some collect screen caps of labels and incense blend lists that look remarkably similar to those of your closed shops, building their case, and wait for the next round of lies to begin. Others glance at the name of especially critical reviewers, match them against the name of known demon-sellers, and begin to laugh.

was a wonderful book but a talented artist

First off the book arrived with a long scratch mark on it, and for the price it was not justified by how short the book was with poor quality print. Some words very spaced out and it wasn’t very consistent, and the writing style came off very childish with saying how you can tell the difference between a daemon and malevolent spirit such as “if it talks like a fifteen-year-old metal head who hates the world…” or pretentious when talking about conjurers online with “funny how I’ve never even heard of them before, and neither has anyone else I know”. It also came off very biased. Some information was useful albeit basic and something you can come across just about anywhere online. Overall I can’t recommend this book to anyone.

Much needed book. Knowledgeable information on what a spirit vessel is and what it is not. RESPECT

However it's a bit short for what you're paying. I guess it's partially my fault for not checking that before I bought it, although I'd still expect a "book" to at least be 100 pages or so if you're paying 14 dollars for it.

thin book but rich in good advice

I really enjoyed this little book and particularly enjoyed the section on creating servitors, There is a lot of common sense in these pages. Well worth the read.

The truth, finally. The bad reviews must come from those who, thanks to this book, will have a harder time ripping off the public.

Clear information about an often misunderstood topic. She doesn' t beat around the bush when giving her opinions. Worth reading.

Not as informative as I thought, I’m really disappointed. I was hoping for more information on how to care for just the basic spirit vessels (not demonic) but it seems more focused on caring for demonic vessels, and there’s also a huge push from the author to go buy their other books so you can know what certain things are. More information would have been nice.
