Simply Greek Souvlaki Kebob Rub

i've used this on rebs and many other dishes and it is delicious.

As a Greek American, I strive to find the flavors of my family….this gets really close to the mark. This is a bit salty so take that into consideration but I’ve bought several over the years and will keep buying. This is best with pork or lamb.

We were looking for an alternative to the outrageously tasty Dry Rub Ribs at Costco, much as we love them, it seems a lot higher price to pay for some souvlaki spice, when excellent ribs are available locally for half the price. Now we find ourselves putting a bit of this spice on practically everything...ribs, of course, to a pinch on deviled eggs! Savory, a bit of spice without a lot of heat...not quite the same as the Costco version, but side by side ribs? Hard to decide, both delicious!

Same exact spices in container as the one I purchased on a trip to Santorini. I use on chicken and beef to make Gyros.

Very tasty. I highly recommend. A little bit goes a long way. This will last me for a long time!

It's delicious . . . the best outside the Plaka at Athens! Just follow the simple instructions: mix the seasoning with olive oil and coat the meat of choice . . . for best flavor, marinate in the refrigerator for several hours. The seasoning is good sprinkled on the cooked meats as well.

Very good rub. Almost as good as the old souvlaki kalamaki at the Corinth Canal. Really brought the taste out.....
