They're pretty good, but not the mold seen in the pic. In the pic here you see the vent holes have stand-up collars, while the product I received has no such feature. The instructions also say very specifically, do NOT fill through vent hole; but unless you submerge the whole thing, how else will you fill it?I assemble the mold, then fill it through the vent holes using boiled-and-cooled water. Spheres come out well-formed and mostly clear. But "mostly" isn't "clear." in fact, the cubes I get have literal faults in them, such that placing one in a glass is dicey, lest I fracture it into two half-spheres of ice. Even using boiled water, the spheres are cloudy and from--an aesthetic point of view, at least--that's not to be desired. What do I have to do to get a clear sphere of ice?

Unique and Durable Mold w/ High Quality Costumer Service.
I bought this product because it have the unique leak-proof design which I believe can prevent ice bridges to form between ice balls, and it turns out to be true. A very thin layer of rings of Saturn might form, but you can break it off easily with your hand or tool. I love this product and it creates nice ice balls. These ice balls DO melt slower than usual ice cubes in my soda. The quality of the mold and customer service is also awesome. However, there is one thing I want to point out.The instruction that come with the product says: Fill the bottom tray to 1/4" from the top. Insert lid into bottom. **Do not fill through vent holes**Yet, it is impossible to follow this because once the bottom tray is filled with water, the top lid is unable to close tightly. The water in between the molds can't escape into the ice ball mold because of the leak-proof design, preventing the top from closing tightly.I also received the instructions by email, which is more detail and correct."Ensuring top and bottom are fully pressed down so the raised edges on the bottom are engaged with the matching grooves on the top, fill the mold to the top using a thin stream of water."So this time I'm told to fill through vent holes, which turns out to be the only way of making ice ball using this mold. I just don't get why another instruction says not to fill through vent holes, which won't create any problem if doing so. I'll just assume it's the wrong instruction that is not designed to come with this mold.

Couldn't make it work for round ice.

Good idea in principle, but....
It's way too flexible, which makes it very difficult to ensure that the two pieces are fitted together tightly. There's no sensory feedback (e.g., "bump" or "snap", etc.) when the 2 pieces are properly seated together, and they easily come apart. It's not practical to pick it up and move it to the freezer after it has been filled, without causing it to leak, because it's so flexible, so you'll need to place it in a pan or on a cookie sheet to support it before filling.Notice the dimensions. The size of the ice balls is small. This isn't criticism of the seller, because they make that clear in the product description, but, in my opinion, the ice balls should be at least 2" diameter. 2" ice balls would be 2.3 fluid ounces of ice by volume, so you could easily fit 2 ice balls in a typical 8-ounce drink glass. 2-1/2" diameter would be even better. That would be 4.5 fluid ounces of ice by volume, leaving room for a decent size drink of straight whisky in an 8-ounce glass with 1 ice ball in it. And it would look cooler :)

Don't love. I find the cubes difficult to remove and it's just kind of awkward. I have since purchased the single, large "ball" ice cube makers and prefer those. The good thing about this product is that the cubes are a nice size; not all glasses have a mouth area that can accommodate the larger cubes that are made one at a time.

Great product and great followup from the seller! Way to go OnDaRox!
I really like this ice tray it created perfect sphere ice but i had to shave a little off the centers which was ok. they were cloudy at first and before i could go on line and see how to make clear sphere ice OnDaRox had sent me an email to follow up on their product. Listed several tips and hints on how to make a perfect ice sphere. Listed was to use hot water for clearer spheres. How cool was that they answered my question before i could even ask it. Way to go OnDaRox! this is a cool product if you want to sip your bourbon without a lot of water taste but still cooled! Perfect size ice spheres for the rock glasses as well.

This shipped quickly and was exactly what I was looking for. The balls were a little smaller than i expected, but they actually work out well! For the holidays we put a drop or 2 of food coloring in each one- which looked great to have red and green ice balls in our vodka tonics!!! We got a lot of compliments and can obviously do other colors for different events. Very easy way to spruce up a drink! I also gave one as a gift to an avid whiskey drinker and he was very excited- but i doubt he'll be dying his ice.
