EDC essential
This pocket light is perfect and bright. Itโs light and the clip is actually sturdy. I can only recommend it the battery seems to have good life as well.

Incredible throw for such a small light.
The amount of throw this little light puts out for its size at its brightest setting really did surprise me. Even after watching the videos on it until you see it, it's still like "Wow". I bought the combo kit with this and The Frog light. I also bought the extension tube for both and the bigger rechargeable batteries in a 4 pack. I VERY HIGHLY recommend you do that, as the tiny battery that comes in the lights just don't last long and with their size is understandable. Even with the extension tube and bigger battery, the lights are still very pocketable. The y both come with a charger cap thing that regulates the charge. It's unique and I think a little bit of a pain, but really it's not.... just remember where you keep them. They are light specific so you can't use one on the other light. I find that I prefer the Frog for inside needs and definitely prefer the GT Nano when I'm outside for that much longer throw. The pictures of the trees behind my house, that distance from where I stood to the trees was about 150 yards. The picture of the trees down the street was 3-4 telephone pole spaces down. You can see the difference with the GT Nano off and on. The distance to the next door house was about 50-60 feet. Good light for a bright pocket light for sure. It will toggle down to regulate the heat but all lights now will do that. So keep the high setting in mind that it is short (it cools quickly and you can turn it on and get repeated bright throws) and you'll enjoy it.

Hilariously tiny with a WOW factor in performance
Now my favorite flashlight, not because of he functionality which by the way so many features for such a small light. My favorite because it's a Proton canon in a comically small package. It feels like a gag gift but it really is a high quality light. Solid built, super bright and even on low it is very functional for a pocket light that doesn't take up space. I'm getting a holster for it just to add to the fun.

Very small, very bright on the highest setting
This is not the smallest flashlight I have or have ever seen, but it is very small considering how bright it is. It is about 2โ long and looks like a very tiny standard flashlight in shape? I like the way the brightness is adjusted by simply holding the button while the light increases or dims. If you are increasing the brightness and reach the maximum setting the light will flash slightly and stay on at that setting. To reduce the brightness simply give a quick press on the button and then hold it to dim the light. The nice part is that the brightness is infinitely selectable from the dimmest to the brightest settin. All,in all I like this light and recommend it for those who may need a tiny light for a keychain or pocket carry. Now the down side. In order to charge the tiny battery the light must be taken apart. The bottom of the light is then attached to a separate charging device and the. A usb is plugged into that appliance to charge the battery. I would have much preferred a magnetic usb charger or eve a direct USB port on the light. Having to keep this small charging device around is not the most prefers approach. It would be easy to lose and then you would need to find an alternative charging method. It is for this reason I took off on star in my rating

Edit - Five years now mine has been massively abused on my fistfull of keys/tools. Works good.
If youโre a flashaholic like me, eventually you will add this super-tiny light to your collection. And not for just its novelty, but because it emits a truly useful amount of light. Hereโs a brief technical overview of this powerful little Every Day Carry light. Using the light: from OFF double clicking will take the light to TURBO, which is surprisingly bright. The light blinks 3 times at 12 seconds before reducing to FULL power, presumably on a timer. It then steps down again at 4 minutes, probably by thermoregulation because by then it has warmed up. It never becomes too hot to hold comfortably, though. The light continues to step itself down to moonlight brightness as the cell drains. Clicking three times will report the cell voltage using blinks. I donโt know if the LED turns off automatically, because I ended the test at 2.8 volts to avoid damaging the cell. Charging: starting from when the light reports a 2.8 volt state of charge, it takes about 2 hours to charge to a full 4.20 volts. The screw-on charge controller regulates the current from 80 milliamps down to 10 mA, which is at maximum a 1C charge ramping down to almost a C/10, and should provide a reasonably long lifetime for this tiny 10180 cell. It does not get hot during charging. My equipment reports that it required 138 mAh to charge the cell to its stated 80 mAh capacity. Thatโs a 58% efficiency, not great technically, but amazing nonetheless for such a miniature piece of kit. The Narsil User Interface will be familiar to most users of modern lights. Itโs a common UI because itโs so intuitive, and easy to mod if you wish. The side mounted electronic switch is dimly lighted in red, but you canโt see it from across the room like other bigger lights. All in all, a very useful keychain flashlight. At the lowest setting, moonlight, itโs easily bright enough to find your door keyhole, and at full brightness it will light up a whole room when stood on its tail. Get yourself one. Edit - I carry mine on a gigantic keychain, and it has accidentally turned on, draining itself. Fortunately, you can lock it off with 4 quick clicks.

Seriously-get this light. 500 foot useful illumination, more than 10 hours of low-lumen use.
I've got several -dozen- LED lights. Most are the best in their category. Some are more a useful-toy type deal. There are better keychain lights (this one has a large bezel), but NOTHING this size will 'throw' as far. I can light up a house 500 feet away, with a -useful- amount of light. Now-be aware-that amount of light only lasts for 2 minutes until the battery is depleted. But the operating system for the light has smooth ramping from very low to maximum. At low ramp, you'll get much more than 10 hours of use (I stopped the test at that time). That level is perfect for in-house, or out to 30 feet. The light blinks to tell you the battery voltage (4.0v to 2.5v is the range you want to keep it at). It will blink a lot to tell you it's time to recharge. You can change the 'firefly' setting to one of three brightnesses for working up close (map reading) in total darkness, without destroying your night vision. I'm estimating 50 hours of life at the lowest firefly lumen setting, if you get lost in a cave, or need a dim light all night long in baby's room. The build and design quality is very high, with great anodizing. You can replace the LiIon 10180 battery when it wears out in 5-10 years (you do need to recharge it when you deplete it through use, the battery is not a one-time-use battery). This light is very popular on all the flashlight forums for a reason!

Not much power a couple times in the turbo & it's over!!.
Cute little lite, but a lot of hipe!. It's pretty bright lite for a keychain lite but it's definitely not a 300 meter thrower like the Amazon ad advertised!. The switch light doesn't work at all, & the 1 they shipped me shines about 100 yards, not 900 yards like the ad says (300. meters)it's a nice little novelty keychain lite, just a little overblown on the advertisement!. I'm not sure if I'm going to send it back or not yet. If the switch light worked I'd probably keep it. 100 yards is a long way for a lite this small. I just thought the ad should be addressed. I just don't understand why these lite makers have to double the true output of every lite they make in there advertisements. Let alone triple it!?. Or More. And the battery life stinks! Just like the price. I should have bought the GT Micro instead!.

Very bright Little Light
What an awesome little light. Is it ever bright. I highly recommend it for short term needs. It does get pretty hot in the higher settings, but you don't really have to use the highest setting.
