Well Sealed, Long-Lasting
These are easy to install and they are well sealed, outlasting LED lights on my trailer even through 100% saltwater dunking and costing way less to boot! Highly recommended.

Working Fine !
This Bulb Capsule replaced one in an 'over 80' trailer light on my boat trailer. It has now been dunked in the water on dozens of occassions and remains waterproof and functional. If I have to work on the trailer lights again, though, I will investigate replacing the entire unit - as the cost for this bulb closely approaches the cost for the entire trailer light assembly.

Sonically Sealed Waterproof Bulb Capsule
This is a high quality product and hopefully it will last many years. This was used as a replacement on a 13 year old trailer, however I have only owned the trailer a little over a year so I do not know how long they may last. With that being said...it seems ridiculous to spend 45 minutes replacing a $12 part to replace a $2.00 bulb.

Tail light repair
A simple bulb was what I expected to find when the tail light on my boat trailer went out. What I found when I removed the lens was something a little more involved. It all makes total sense to me now that the tail light has to be water proof but changing the bulb wasn't going to be that easy I thought. Much to my surprise I found this bulb available on Amazon at a reasonable price so I ordered it. It showed up at my house the next day. You need to splice the wires together and I used a little heat shrink on the connections but installing it was a no brainer. Next time one of these burns out I know exactly where to get one.

Now the light shines brightly.
A direct replacement for the original assembly. Easy to follow instructions. Used the trailer the summer on 2016 without a problem.

sealed unit but bare open wires on connecting end? Why?
so purchased these for my boat trailer, exact same Mfg as on my Four Winns boat trailer. Much to my surprise the capsule comes with bare wire ends. The existing units come with 2 wire sealed waterproof connectors installed. So off to the auto parts stores I go., Much to my surprise the waterproof connectors are not readily available and none of the 4 auto parts stores (we checked the trailer section too) had the connectors available. They did have the same exact 2 wire connectors, but only with wire pre installed to the connector. So how do I maintain the sealed WP integrity with that? Well, all we could come up with is some end to end butt connectors and put shrink tube over it. What a pain. How stupid is this?

Burned out
Well they were right it did not leak. I always unplug my lights when I launch and I only got 1 season out of them. I now have Led tail lights. Maybe a heaver filament in the bulb or fix all of our roads.

The item you will receive is not the item in the picture.
The pictured item is actually part number 403356. It is the Wesbar capsule that you can unscrew and replace the bulbs in. What you are actually ordering here is item number 403348 which is the Wesbar capsule that is permanently sealed. As far as the product itself it is mediocre. If they worked great you probably would not be here buying a replacement (like me). Mine had no damage but still filled up with water and stopped working.
