Yes it's exactly like a garter belt. It has way too many clip on to fasten. It is light weight. It is comfortable but I barely sweat in the areas I usually sweat without having the waistband on.

What I am a little iffy on is the fact that they go up a little to high ! You know the saying don't knock it until you try it yeah well haahaa ha I love these just within the past two days of wearing these shorts I have noticed a big difference in my stomach and butt Just saying I am almost in a large now ! I am so happy !
