It works. Eventually.
I had a seriously bad flea infestation in my sunroom. Like. No. Y'all. Flea medicine on the cats wouldn't even save them. I would have fleas up to my -hips- in less than a minute. I would have to wash off outside with the hose before going back in the house, and even then they -still- found their way into my hall, my bathroom and my bedroom to start eating ME. It. was. a. nightmare.I tried everything I could think of. I'm not a fan of synthetic pesticides and chemicals, especially around my pets, so I tried diatomaceous earth, I tried essential oils, I tried powders and potions and prayer, let me tell you.No dice. Even God didn't want to deal with my flea infestation.I fantasized about packing up everything, cats and all, and just burning the house to the ground. And there I was, on Amazon shopping for matches, when I found this product and decided I could at least give it a go first.I saw the bad reviews about the junk sprayer, so while I waited for shipping, I bought a sprayer bottle in town. I'm not about to deal with frustration just to try to deal with my original frustration. I ignored the 'do not open this totally-openable spout' directions, and poured myself a spray bottle full. 16 ounces. I shut the cats out of the sunroom and sprayed. I sprayed the floors. I sprayed the furniture. I sprayed the walls. I. sprayed. the. ceiling.Thank God for N-95 masks, y'all, because I was -fumigating- myself in there. I sprayed about half the bottle over a 200 square foot room, but that's probably excessive. It was dripping down the walls, and the floor needed a caution sign. While that dried, I went outside and hosed the hoard of fleas off my legs. My sunroom was the Titanic, and I was a big door. Goodbye, Jack. I sprayed my hall with a vengeance, my bathroom with impunity, and my bedroom with righteous indignation. I found a sadistic glee in watching them wriggle in the shallow pools of death-water that puddled on my floor. They did not go gentle into that good night, no. Days passed, and they were, if anything, more mutinous than ever. Manic and angry--I swear they took me for their Goliath. Or their all-you-can-climb buffet. The cats were going mad too, and they took to playing 'the floor is lava', for understandable reasons. But there were a few less fleas. And after a week, I doused the place again and hit the deck and walkway while I was at it. Then there were a few less. So after another week, I sprayed again. And then, miraculously, I walked into my sunroom and found my cats LAYING ON THE FLOOR!They hadn't touched the floor in weeks! At least, no longer than it took to leap to another vertical surface and wildly groom themselves. I thought they must be sick! Then I realized after looking down that there weren't any fleas on me. None. In fact, what I -thought- was a flea was actually a new freckle on the top of my foot.I won. Ha!That was months ago, and not only have I not seen a single flea, I also haven't found a single (live) waterbug, spider, fly, or cricket. Apparently this stuff works on just about everything. Thank God.

Tried the Rest...this IS the BEST!!!☝
EXCELLENT product!!We were quite SHOCKED when our "Indoor-ONLY" Kitty became infested w/ fleas! (😨YIKES!) We can only suspect that the fleas somehow entered our cozy, flea-FREE environment either by hitching a ride on the shoes/clothing of a recent visitor to our home who has pets, came in one of the many boxes or pkg deliveries we frequently receive, or one of our family members allowed a tag-along in, as they trekked thru our VERY "pet friendly" neighborhood. (That's just a 'Heads-Up' to anyone wanting to be vigilant.) At 1st we were in FULL denial when Jasmine (our kitty😻) 1st started "scratching" herself, thinking it must just be a mild case of dermatitis, or "something." Because after all, she NEVER leaves the house, so it CAN'T be fleas!! Oh, boy...how WRONG were we!!! (Consider that another 'Heads-Up!' I would suggest to just CHECK your fur baby at the VERY 1st sign of scratching/itching. DON'T make our mistake!!😰) I then noticed her scratching becoming incessant. Even to the point where she would wake from a deep sleep to SCRATCH! She even looked miserable. By the time I realized what it could possibly be, my POOR baby was infested w/ fleas!!😣After FRANTICALLY scouring nearly EVERY website @ the internet & learning EVERYTHING there is to KNOW about FLEAS...I was ready for the "BATTLE!!!" (That's the term I hear/read ppl use all the time regarding their experience(s) with fleas. Because trust me...it IS just THAT: a full-blown "BATTLE!"😡 Lol) What I initially thought was harmless cat "dandruff" turned out to be flea EGGS! And my kitty had been shedding them everywhere in the house! (😨Yikes, again! Because I do mean EVERYWHERE!!) I headed to Amazon & LOADED my cart w/ EVERYthing & ANYthing that I thought I would need to fight this scourge of fleas! Flea & Tick: □ Shampoo, check; □ Tablets, check; □ Drops, check; □ Collar, check; □ New Vacuum Cleaner (You betcha, that's how determined I was to "WIN" this Battle! Lol) check; □ Wipes, check; □ Flea & Tick combs, check; and lastly the most important ingredient in the Recipe to kill those pesky PESTS...□ Spray!!! But, Holy Smokes...WHICH ONE?! Sooo many choices, sooo many price points!!😫 Where do I even begin?!😲So I bought a WHOLE bunch of DIFFERENT ones:#1) Adam's: worked somewhat ok, but the smell & scent overwhelmed us, & our kitty HATED it! For the price, I thought, there could be better. #2) Hartz: GR8 price, worked relatively well. Good choice if you're needing to be extra price-conscious & need something that works. #3) Ortho (Aerosol): a bit pricey for such a small can, but does a GR8 job for hitting "hot spots" & dishing out an "instant kill!" Must use sparingly or, it'll all be gone B4 you know it! #4) Ortho (Liquid-Gal): Pretty decent job, no better or worse than the others. Didn't see any significant difference from others. #5) Black Flag Extreme Flea Killer (THIS Guy): I saved the BEST for last, because this puppy DOES the job BEST!! It incorporates the MUST-HAVE "IGR" component that helps win the "Battle" over those tiny monsters & their different "Life Stages," & you definitely NEED to catch them ALL in ALL of their various stages; adults, eggs, larvae, pupae, it has a clean scent that everyone in the house could live with, Jasmine didn't scamper off frantically at the 1st wiff of it (like she did w/ Adam's!) - in fact, she followed right behind me whilst I was spraying around the house, curious to see what I was doing - is priced quite fairly for its size (altho I noticed it went up a couple dollars from my 1st purchase to my 2nd; $11.XX to $13.XX - but that's ok👌 w/ me because it DOES WORK!👍, and it UNdoubtedly, absolutely knocked-DOWN the flea population in our humble abode, like nobody's business!!! The difference between all the other sprays & THIS guy was UNmistakable!! We noticed results almost immediately!! I can highly recommend THIS product WITHOUT ANY HESITATION!!!Needless to say...$200-$300 later I had EVERY hope that I could WIN this particular "Battle!" (Lol...I HATE losing @ ANYthing!) Knock on wood, we're about 99.9% there. (After nearly 3-4 mos of this Fight! And I'm tuckered out!😴+🤕) Yeah, I'm finding fleas...BUT, they're all DEAD fleas! (The BEST kind!😂) If you're also in the midst of a "Battle," or just beginning it, your approach has GOT to be MULTI-PRONGED!!! You CANNOT JUST give your fur baby a flea bath, or JUST put a few drops between their shoulder blades, or JUST buy them a flea collar & hope the problem goes away. (Because it WON'T!!) You MUST treat EVERYthing & EVERYwhere your 4-legged beloved one comes in contact with; Beds, Scratching Posts, Chew Toys, Favorite Blankey, etc., along w/ treating him/her. Then vacuum, Vacuum, VACUUM...like there's no tomorrow! Be VERY vigilant w/ baths, drops, buy a decent flea collar, spray liberally, etc. & watch for ANY possible ways fleas can infiltrate your home...And hopefully YOU, too, can WIN your BATTLE against those MUCH hated fleas & ticks!!! Good Luck!!! I hope my long-winded (sorry 'bout that! I had to "share" as much as I could to help YOU, the SAME way others helped ME!) dissertation proves to be of some small measure of help. Fleas & Ticks SUCK BIG TIME!!! WHO NEEDS 'EM?!!!😬P.S. Just a ☡Cautionary Note - since I already did the Homework:Do NOT treat your pet w/ more than one treatment at a time!!! You do NOT want to overwhelm or shock their system & have them get sick. Please space your treatments, or consult your Vet for further advice. If you can't afford a Vet, check out the website: Flea Science. Terrific info & insight. (No...I'm NOT affiliated whatsoever. Just found it packed w/ exceptional knowledge.)P.P.S. If my Battle starts to falter & the remaining .01% needs to be conquered w/ something else, I've been advised that a WHOLE house "Fogging" might just do the trick! You may want to consider incorporating that in YOUR Battle.Good Luck, again! & Have a GR8 Day!!!😊

!! Don't waste your time or money !!
****UPDATE****I found an even better solution to the fleas and haven't seen them come back in over a year!! Since most of them were staying in my damped basement I covered the floor with table salt and baking soda yes very messy!! But my God it worked!!! The fleas slowly started dying off never to be seen again!! Get you some salt and baking soda. This product still sucks!!ORGINAL POSTThis product is a huge waste of money I don't usually give reviews but I had to on this one because I saw so many great reviews about it I bought it. I recently got a kitten because my dog passed away and my other cat was lonely. come to find out the kitten was infested with fleas and I did not know until I started getting bit up really bad. I ended up trying so many things and came to this one. I have sprayed for about a week and notice that I was still getting bit up and it did not lessen. So yesterday I saw a flea and sprayed it on I watched the flea walk through this product for a good 30 seconds before it finally died and I only think it died because I drenched it so it may have drowned. So I decided to run a test I use vinegar, lemon juice and water and a spray bottle. I sprayed the fleas and watch them die only took about 5 seconds at the most. Next I took a cup of water and coconut oil and the next time a flea jumped on me I threw it in there it only took about 10 seconds for the flea to die the natural products are better than this product and it sucks because I wasted my money I end up bombing my house and it worked a lot better I think I will do another bomb. Still battling these fleas I will try and update when I find a great product.

It works. Just get it.
Tried everything. Down to lamps with the soapy water traps, Diatomaceous Earth, vacuuming my way around my house every day. This stuff kills them on the spot which is great. Some helpful hints- wear a mask if you have asthma. It doesn’t specifically say it’s an irritant but i found it makes me cough if i spray copious amounts which of course i did.-For hardwood floors pour some into a mop bucket with boiling water! My last sighting of fleas was before a good mopping with this stuff in the mix. (i have mostly wooden floors in my home)-soak carpets. People reported problems with the sprayer; I had none. But tire that arm out with a good thick coating on any rugs at least once a day!I am relieved to say that after a month of fighting these demons bugs they are finally gone 😭

Not very effective in killing fleas.
We have had two cats for about five years. They were strays that adopted us. We have never noticed as much as one single flea on either cat or in the house. Suddenly, both cats started scratching and biting at their fur. Then we saw the fleas. We treated the cats right away and dead fleas fell like raindrops. We were also seeing fleas on the floor of our bedroom and bathroom, so I got this to spray those areas. I sprayed as directed and quite heavily at that. It seemed to have no effect on the flea population. I bought diatomaceous eart and sprinkled that around the areas where we had seen fleas and that took care of the problem. This product did not do the job at all on fleas. I will use what is left on outside areas around ttash cans where ants and roaches congregate for free meals and hope it works there, but if your problem is fleas, this isn't doing the job -- at least, not for me. I live in Tampa, Florida, so fleas in other locations may be more susceptible to this product.
