The worms, especially seem like a choking hazard. They are about an inch or 1.5 inches long, and at most as thick as my pinky finger, or less. I got this for my 1 year old (the label said ages 1-3), but I ended up giving it to her big sis instead (nearly 3) because I was worried my littlest would choke on the worms.This is a sturdy toy, well made. My nearly 3 year old loves the fishing part, but has no interest in the carrots. I would have given it full marks except I do NOT think it should be given to a 1 year old (or at least not to mine, who is still putting everything in her mouth, and sometimes crawling around with things in her mouth). I’m not sure I would have given it to my oldest when she initially turned 2, either...It’s a great toy for my nearly 3 year old, though!

I ordered this toy for my granddaughter’s first birthday. The description here advertisers for a 1-3 year old.Once I received it it says clearly on the box not for a child under 3 years old.It’s a very cute toy but it has small parts and shouldn’t be advertised as a one year old toddler’s toy.Hoping she can use it in a few years.

My son loves this toy! He’s 16 months and has been obsessed with it. Unfortunately for us, he’s also been obsessed with sneaking things into the trash can when we aren’t looking and we’ve lost a carrot. My OCD is struggling :) but he loves it anyway so that’s all that matter. Buy this, high quality, cute and captures the attention of little kiddos

The fishing poles are a bit small but work well. The gripper for the carrots is nice. It's flexible and not as easy as you think it'd be to break.

Well made, bright colors, pretty much unbreakable. Our 2-year-old grandson loves it. Good for color learning
