Don’t waste your money!
Don’t waste your money. I like the idea of this, and I was happy about how fast it arrived at my house but very poorly made. Very poorly wrapped. The base of the sunflower where the stem meets is broken, so the stem goes all the way through. The pedals are all bent each way out of wack. And the holes are to big, they arnt small enough for regular bird feed.

Cute but small
This little bird feeder is cute but it’s really small. It’s certainly not worth $22.99 for one.Be careful as when you put the sunflower seeds in the sunflower they will fall through the holes.Cute but not worth the price.

Squirrel feeder is more like it
The birds don’t go to this feeder, but the new family of squirrels love it! It’s only a few feet off the ground, so I see why birds aren’t too sure of it. The squirrels like to sit on top or cling to the mesh for a black sunflower seed breakfast…and lunch…and dinner.I think if they didn’t clean it out everyday, the seed would last long enough for little birds to explore it.

Would NOT recommend purchasing :(
This arrived in poor condition. Two of the yellow "petals" were bent and damaged, with paint chipping off of them. The yellow sunflower "top" did not securely fasten to the green stake - it was quite wobbly. Very poor quality and not worth the price at all.

Very flimsy design
The product arrived with one of the leaves bent, but it seemed to be OK.There is a bar across the top that makes adding seed a very messy job, with a good 30% falling to the ground. The product is not tall enough to deter squirrels, and they end up bending, and eventually breaking, the leaves.Looks pretty in the pictures, but I would not recommend.

Post broke off at base of sunflower head.
The bird feeder is very nice looking. Looks good in the yard. The quality of the connector to the post is shoddy. Mine came broken. I repaired it using a bolt and nut to reattach the post to the head. I would guest that the majority of them arrive dammaged. The vendor needs to make a chande in how its made.

Great bang for the buck
I've had this for about six months now. When it first arrived, I was disappointed to see that the metal leaves are black and not dark green as I hoped. A quick use of spray paint would change that, but I decided it's not worth the trouble. The birds in my area (GA) absolutely love this feeder, making it far more popular than I imagined. Squirrels and other lawn critters are unfortunate fans as well, and one of the animals managed to bend a thin metal leaf, somehow not impelling himself on the pointy tip. The leaf bent back into shape, but I expect it to happen every year. As for ease of use, the feeder fills from the top after spinning off the screw-on lid. I strongly advise you to use a funnel when filling it up. With a funnel, it's a very quick and convenient task; without a funnel, expect to make a mess.Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase. If it somehow broke today, I'd certainly buy another one. But if I were giving it as a gift, I'd take the time to actually paint the leaves and stem a hue other than black.
