My mother was allergic to the adhesive that holds it on the body so instead of just one open wound in the sacrum area she wound up with blisters and rashes where the device was applied. I have no idea if it would have done what it was intended for because we were unable to use it long enough to find out. She had it on for less than one hour. This patch increased the misery of the whole family by 100%. I do not think our experience is a good way to judge the efficiency of the product.
