Very good for someone wanting to open a business. Very well put together and resourceful info. I am just wanting to quilt for the ladies in my guild, so not so much the info I was wanting.

This book is more about how to start a business in general than it is specifics on the quilting / sewing industry in general. Content such as filing cabinets, hiring an accountant, and choosing what hours you wish to work are generalized business info you can get pretty much anywhere online for free. It felt like the author was writing content to fill up the pages. More helpful content would have been information such as how to find wholesale suppliers, how to price work, how to deal with difficult customers, and sources for equipment, supplies, and how to network in the industry. A much more helpful resource is on the website, thebusinessofmachinequilting.com, which is free and has much more relevant info in my opinion. I returned this book for a refund.

Good info about how to start a business
Good info about how to start a business, but totally lacking in how to start a quilt business. There was small stories on people that started a quilt business but there was nothing on identifying what you would actually need for the quilt business.
