Lionel (that’s his name in our house) is Walter’s closest friend. He sleeps with him every night. The pic and video are from when he was 8 weeks old, he’s 7 months now and Lionel is in perfect condition... I can’t say the same for all of them! There is nothing special about Lionel, other than he’s soft, good sized and has been worth every penny given as much as he plays with him.

This is not for large dogs as it states. My medium size dogs had this and the pig from the same collection torn apart in less than 5 minutes ! I am usually pleased with Kong toys , but these have velcro on their backs that the dogs find in 2 seconds, that is where the squeaker is so they take that out within a minute and then tear the stuffing out . These toys from this collection are a disappointment and way overpriced . I would say maybe a small dog could have it, but not if he/she is a chewer, then it could be dangerous for them

Overall I really like this toy. My dog seems to like it as well. He will play with it longer than any of his other toys. We both like the bellow squeaker as opposed to the traditional squeaker most dog toys have. (Granted he broke the squeaker after about a week.) I also like that the squeaker is removable. What I do not like is the velcro in the back. It isn't very strong velcro and it is way to easy for my dog to pull it open. He loves to turn the squeaker pocket inside out and tug on it so I know it is only a matter of time until it gets ripped open. If there was a stronger/higher quality velcro closure I would give this toy 5 stars in a heartbeat.

Kong Comfort line of dog toys are my dog’s favorite. When she was a pup and up to a couple of years old, she would shred any soft fuzzy toy in minutes. She liked soft and fuzzy best, but we mostly got the Kong indestructible hard toys for her. Kong was the only brand that held up. Now that she’s older and mellowed some, she is easier on her favorite Kong soft toys. She will work to “kill” the squeaker which results in a tear to remover the squeaker. Then she calmly carries the toy around, uses it as a pillow sometimes. Sometimes an ear or leg goes missing and some stuffing is spilled. But Kong toys are made tough. Even after some damage, they still have integrity and are very much loved... by the dog. I’m not into wet and stinky.

I previously had the Kong bear and thought I would try this since it lasted a long time with my standard golden doodle (50lb dog). She was able to tear through this one in about 24 hours unfortunately so I would not recommend this if your dog is a strong chewer. Didn't squeek a lot so that was nice (for as long as it lasted). Will order the bear again.
