If you don’t want to drill holes in your boat this is an item you will need. I put mine in between my jack plate and outboard.

Broke the first time we used it
Terrible quality, broke the first time I used it. Metal flexed, cracked, then broke. All in some light boat traffic, while near a sandbar.This was only on a 16’ hewes redfisher... I guess it is made for a 10’ dingy.Do NOT buy... waste of money.
