Difficult to operate.
This can opener works very well except for the effort needed to operate it. We are elderly and my wife is unable to open a can with it and it is difficult for me. I would hesitate to recommend it for the elderly or for people with health problems. Possibly a crank type operating lever would be an improvement.

Works some (most) of the time. There is no mechanism that holds the can opener to the can while turning the handle and it sometimes comes off the can. Also if the lip on the can is small or is recessed, the opener will not properly remove the lid, although this has only happen once in the past 1 month I have had it.
