I love this book. I have purchased many copies for me, my family & friends.

I got this classic book when my children were young. Somehow it did not make it out here with us when we moved so I got another one for our grandchildren. It explains how to make a variety of dough-like materials so that they will be non-toxic and have just the texture you desire. It is more than just Play Dough-type play items. You may want a craft material that dries or stays soft. This is a good book for teachers, parents and grandparents.

This is a must have if you have small children.

This book is packed with great dough ideas. I've only tried a 10th of what this book has to offer, but can't wait to try them all. We used a sand dough for a castle, needed for a school project. I've used it with my preschool, and pre-k children (work), as well as my own tweens.

This book has lots of fun stuff to do with toddlers and we are just starting to explore some of them with our 20 month old. Her care giver is excited to have new ideas as well. There are different levels listed for easy and time involved so make is easy to decide which one you have time to do and if the skill level is present to do them. Good book!

MaryAnn promotes really free play through handling and exploring. You will be amazed what kids (and others) will be able to come up with!! Very practical guide to enable an explosion of creativity. A lovely book for parents, teachers, play leaders (or anyone!)

Recipe book for loads of different doughs and clays. If you are Christian, you might want to remove a couple of pictures, but overall, the book is great.

This book is a great resource for clay and dough making for use with children. The author presents suggested age ranges for use, ingredients, and methods, etc., clearly and in a very readable format.

It is a great book for ideas on different types and textures of "mud". However it can be quite a pain to get everything ready and then your child not enjoy it!!
