Great product!
I bought this for temporary privacy solution for my 16’ doorwall until I’m ready for the expensive purchase of window treatments. This product worked perfectly. I purchased the frosted privacy film. It lets plenty of filtered light through. You cannot see in or out, day or night. The quality is very nice. It was easy for me to install myself. It does not have an adhesive and goes on with just water. I think it looks great and my husband asked why I didn’t purchase it sooner! I would definitely recommend!

Impressive Quality and Performance – Highly Recommended
All I can say is, wow — this is truly one of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon. After dealing with some disappointing window tints from another seller, this product was a breath of fresh air. The quality is excellent, and the difference was immediate. I live in a high-rise on the sunny side, and my unit often felt like a greenhouse. As soon as I installed these tints, the heat was reduced by what felt like 90%. They also provide an impressive level of privacy, which is a huge bonus. I chose the brown tint and couldn’t be happier with my decision. During the day, it gives off a soft, sunset-like glow, and at night, it transitions into a unique dark rose-pink/brown tone that adds character to the space. They’re easy to install, with the perfect thickness — not too thick and not too thin. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied and would highly recommend these window tints to anyone looking for an effective, stylish solution to heat and privacy issues.

HIDBEA One Way Window Film, Daytime Privacy Sun Blocking Reflective Window Film No Glue
Excellent Privacy and Sun Protection - Easy to Apply! I’m very impressed with the HIDBEA One Way Window Film. It provides exactly the privacy I needed during the day while still allowing me to enjoy the natural light. The reflective surface does a great job of blocking out the view from the outside, giving me peace of mind without having to use heavy curtains or blinds. The sun-blocking feature is also fantastic. It significantly reduces the heat and glare in my room, making it much more comfortable, especially during the hotter parts of the day. Plus, I’ve noticed that it helps protect my furniture from fading due to sun exposure. One of the best aspects of this film is that it’s no-glue and static cling. Application was straightforward, and it didn’t leave any sticky residue on my windows. If you make a mistake during installation, it’s easy to reposition without any hassle. The film is also durable and doesn’t peel or bubble after application. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this product. It delivers on privacy, sun protection, and ease of use. I highly recommend the HIDBEA One Way Window Film to anyone looking to improve their home’s comfort and privacy.

Perfect for Letting Light in but Not Nosey Neighbors
Update since I wrote this review: I have had these up for several months now, no issues what so ever. I live in Houston where our windows sometimes sweat, I've had no issues with this film staying on. I can leave my blinds open all day and when I go to bed I just close them. No one can see in but I close them in case someone gets right up to the window and peeks into a crack where I might not have cut the size perfectly. I know a few others have said theirs hasn't stayed on the window. I did clean my windows pretty hastily, but did clean them before putting my film up. Hope this helps. First Review: I just put this up today in one of my windows. I have no idea if it will stay put so check other reviews for that. What I know - it is absolutely what I wanted. It lets so much light in but doesn't show in or out. If I was close to the window, it might show an image but I'd have to be really close. It's plain, mostly opaque, and went up easily. Here are my tips: I didn't have everything to complete the job so I used my pancake spatula instead of a squeegee, I didn't have a box cutter so I made a template ahead of time and used that to trace and cut the exact size I needed. I didn't have a spray bottle so I had a small bottle from Bath and Body Works w a small amount of fragrance left - poured that elsewhere and used that small spray bottle. So, the biggest challenge I had was trying to pull the backing off, it took me a long time with each. When I do the other window, I will peel, then use my template, and I will make sure to leave something small between the backing and the window film (a sticky?) so I don't take five minutes each time trying to separate the back from the film. Hope this helps. I love open windows - live in a downstairs apartment, I will be able to raise the blinds all the way up and no one will be able to see in but I'll have the light!

Instant Privacy & So Easy to Install – Love It!
I am SO thrilled with this HIDBEA Frosted Window Privacy Film! I needed a solution for a window that gets a bit too much direct sun and also wanted some extra privacy without losing all the natural light. This film delivered on all fronts, and I’m genuinely impressed by how easy it was to put up. Seriously, the 'non-adhesive static cling' part is no joke. I was a little worried it would be a fiddly nightmare, but it was surprisingly straightforward. Just clean the window, spray it with some soapy water, peel the backing off the film, and smooth it on. I used a squeegee to get the bubbles out, and voilà – instant frosted glass effect! The 23.6 x 157.5-inch roll was more than enough for my project, with some left over. The level of privacy is perfect; it blurs everything out but still lets in a lovely, diffused light, which has made the room feel so much more comfortable. I've also noticed the room doesn't get quite as hot in the afternoon, so the UV blocking and heat control seem to be doing their job too. If you're looking for an affordable, effective, and easy way to upgrade your windows, I can't recommend this stuff enough!

Blocks heat and provides privacy during day
Used this film on our sliding glass doors where the sun beats in all day. Super easy to apply and we actually have noticed a difference. Our house stays much cooler now, and we’ve been able to keep the thermostat at 70–72 instead of it down to 66–68. Great product that does exactly as it says. Also applied to a bedroom window and bathroom window that get direct sunlight. Doesn't look tacky. Sticks well when spraying both the window and the film with soapy water. Bought a cheap squeegee at the dollar store to help. Was able to apply on my own but would be easier with 2 people. Took me about 5 min per window including measuring, cutting, and applying.

Not film but plastic
The product works. My complaint is that it is not a film but a thick sheet of plastic. It does stick to the window but it is not malleable therefore difficult to handle and cut.

Is not a "mirror" finish.
I clicked "place order" before reading the reviews :( This isn't a terrible product. I like that it is available in 29.5" width and it went up and stayed on the window so far. The 1-star reviews that say it is thicker than other films, and dents easily--true. My main disappointment, it is advertised as having a "mirror effect". It is more like the dull side of the aluminum foil. I had a chance to try Gila brand film on one window. It is thinner, with a much more mirror-like effect and looks nicer, easier to work with, too. It is more expensive. This was my first window film experience. I learned, I'd rather have the nicer mirror effect. I also think the Gila is better for privacy because it actually reflects the image instead of just darkening the view. From outside, when I get close to my window, in daylight, I can still see in. So if your budget is tight, this is a good value. If you need better privacy and a nicer mirror appearance, spend a little more.
