Winsor & Newton Linseed Stand Oil, 500ml (16.9-oz) Bottle

Excellent quality.

I've been an artist all my life, although I made my final career choice in the sciences. However, I still love to do art as a hobby and continue to do so. I'd never mixed my own paints before, always having purchased my paints from the local craft store. However, recently I came across a project that required me to mix some paint to get the perfect color. I looked around for linseed oil and found Reeves. Having never done so before, I unfortunately don't have anything to compare this to, except the pre-mixed, industrially produced, paint pigments I buy at the craft store. I found that I really liked the paint I made with Reeves, and it worked wonderfully for my project.

Does what it's meant to do! And the price is very good.

I want this linseed oil to make my own Glittering paste and although it's a little pricey I need it. It arrived quite fast.

I love the way this makes my colors feel on my canvas!

If you’re serious about oils then you must already use, or know of Windsor & Newton. I had used them previously but didn’t always get the finishing I wanted. The linseed is excellent for any level of artist and of course W&N are exceptional.
