Bought this to help speed up the filtering process of my fish tank during maintenance. It does a good job, maybe too good as the filter clogs up too fast. However still very well built. Easy to change filters and even came with a starter set. Would recommend., it includes a wrench to open the canisters and a mount to install on the wall.

One star only for fast shipping. Carbon filter is 1/4 inch shorter than sediment one and is loose in the filter case. E-mailed to them and they said that indeed filter is shorter and suggested me to put washer in order to make it fit. When I e mailed them back and asked why this washer is not included in the set no one returned to me. Filters a suspicious quality no information on them where they made etc, look very cheap. No information about the product at all, no manual, no installation instructions, nothing! Has only 4 screws which packed in a sandwich plastic bag, when it needs 12 screws. Wanted to return and I had to pay for the shipment. So I wasted 30 bucks for return. Do not recommend this product to anyone

I’ve been a handy man and have worked construction in the past so I know without a doubt this was installed correctly.The duel filter worked great for a couple months. This morning, (8-10-2018) I woke up to a half inch of water in my garage where the filter was installed. It appeared the side of the houseing had split and caused a catastrophic failure! The houseing was not over tightened as I only hand tightened the houseing.Buyer beware of this cheap, inferior product and spend more to have peace of mind! I was lucky this happened in a garage and not in my attic where I first planned to install this!

I would recommend using brass fittings going into the filter. I used plastic pex fittings and have a slight leak. It barely drips but just a heads up.

I over tightened one of the pressure relief caps and it snapped off at the base when I tried to loosen it. They are not very robust. I would recommend putting a pressure relief in the pvc piping to avoid this. I went with a shut off valve on each side of the system and a bypass so water remains on while changing the filters. A pressure relief in the 3/4 pvc will be much more durable. All in all this system can't be beat for the price (the filtration is all about the filters). I will be buying the exact same system to replace the one I broke.
