This is your standard china made ip camera. They claim its 2 mega pixel- video quality is much less then the stated value. I use blue iris so do Not have a need for any video detection and so on (blue iris does it).The software is off the shelf "generic Ip camera software"... Naturally it shows features and setting that do not apply to this model.The picture is just "average" at best. The default color setup is dark at best- I had to turn up the brightness. The colors are washed out. The IR-cut is not very good. Mounting these types of camera -can be pain anyway due to the fact you need to deal with the "power pig tail". This mounting system is even more clunky than most. The position of the cameras wireless antenna limits the mounting angles. (it actually Blocks).The mount has allen set screws and is very hard tighten. They do provide the tool. You can get then to be "firm at best".The camera is metal and seems solid. I had several camera picture lock-ups and had to manually reset it. The wireless on this model had issues. I am returning camera based of lower quality picture,poor color cast, and on this one- several lockups that required physical power reset. I would deal with it if was a $35 dollar camera- but it is not!?!! (yet!!)

I've messed with this thing for months and still can't get it to work more that 4-5 seconds. I am only able to reset and VIEW what it sees for about 4 seconds and then it freezes. I can't use it to monitor or record. In the dark, the night vision can see a good distance for the few seconds but you can see the red glow of the lights. Even if I could get it to work, it is visible.EDIT:I finally found that I could use the app on my tablet and get a reasonably reliable feed. However, with the only way to record being to record what you are watching, it isn't much in the way of security. Then to top that off, it has just died. So it lasted about a year. Pretty poor quality.EDIT 2: I paid $99 for this and the price has been steadily going down hoping to pawn them off on unsuspecting suckers. Don't fall for it.

The camera come with almost no documentation. In spite of that i was able to get it connected to my network and view it on their proprietary software on my Android phone. However, the software lacks any useful features. All I wanted was a camera that has night/day vision and records to either my phone or the cloud when there is motion (not asking a lot). I got the day/night vision capability, but the software lacked any useful recording features. Then when I tried to connect it to TinyCam Pro (an app that has the features I wanted), I discovered that it does not support this camera. I got it to connect briefly by playing with the brand/model settings, but then it got buggy and I can't reconnect. So, I have a useless ornament on my house. My advice, is not to purchase this cam and to make sure that whatever cam you do purchase has software that has the features you want or is supported by software with those features (like TinyCam Pro).

ugh, Having no luck with outdoor wifi camera's. This is another piece of junk. It is missing an axis so to speak so positioning is cumbersome. Worse, the main video does not work reliable. It works for 3 seconds and then it stops working and works again after a reboot for a few seconds. Also I cannot get it to work with blueiris. Will try hard wired ethernet later. Of course that would defeat the purpose of buying a wifi camera. Deebol does not appear to have a website ??? So I could not find firmware upgrade or technical details on this camera. Also send email because I needed more technical information. No reply.

Bought it couple of months ago. Hardware seems to be good, but the main reason I bought it was to get motion detection emails triggered. I have tried to set this feature over three different web browsers and it has been nothing but frustrating. Compared to another Chinese camera I have had for three years this web interface is about 5 times worse. It only has 4 zones vs. 20 of the Huacam brand and the triggering is useless. You either get 200 fake triggers a day or non at all. Resizing the motion zones takes 10 times or 100 times for changes to get through. If you plan to use it for motion detection to email DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT!

It is very suspicious that this product has so many good reviews on Amazon. While the hardware itself seems decent the software is absolutely terrible. It's buggy and missing tons of features.I have installed 4 different makes of outdoor cameras over the last 12 years and I am also an engineer who once worked on surveillance software so I know a thing or two about this topic. The software on this camera was an after thought. You cannot even do timed recording which most online cloud recording systems need! The video feed is incredibly slow with about a 2-3 second lag. Trying to get the motion detection to work was almost impossible through the web interface.The documentation is atrocious too. If you visit their website there is not even a proper set of documentation for this camera ... rather the software and the documentation has been cobbled down from another camera they make.This camera is junk ... there are plenty of other better cameras out there. I returned it and bought one of the new Amcrest cameras (same guys who did the Foscam but this one is better) and I'm very happy with it.

i have purchased alot of items from amazon over the years, and numerous foscam ip cameras, recently a few new ones from foscam, most night view sucked, and usually have issues, with limited assistance from their support team, hence sent them back. Now this DEEBOL i tried because of the size and the REVIEWS. I gotta tell ya for the first time there were all RIGHT. This one i would totally RECOMMEND. In fact i order three more. The quality of picture both day and night FAR exceed foscam. So i decided to revew and if it were possible to go higher than 5 stars i Would a total 10 in my opinion.
